1.
watched the lamarque highlights that were posted.  they looked like they were well coached but i didnt see too many highlights from this running back you hold on a pedastal.  looks like they were playing teams that didnt have a chance to get off the bus without tripping over the steps.
Jersey #2, when you have a God-given talent such as this young man, most teams do appear like you described. By the way does anyone have any hi-lites of the other young men described on this thread? I would like to watch them. I prefer to compliment talent when I see it, all of our student/athletes deserve it. I also leave the negative comments to others in describing any team who is proud to wear a uniform, even if their moms and dads didn't teach them how to step out of a bus.
 2. *Tim Wright's National Rankings by Max Preps...prior to the Texas City game:* 28th - Overall in the Country 28th - Total Yards 1,598 yds. 24th - Yards Per Carry 10.06 yds. 20th - Yards Per Game 228.3 yds. 36th - Touchdowns 17 (Rushing TD's) 33rd - Longest Rush 71 yds. (This number is incorrect, he has a 92 yd run vs Terry which would actually put him 6th in the nation)
Kirbyville is not in the Golden Triangle...It's in the Piney Woods..... ;D ;D
It's beautiful there as well!!

He leads 22-3A in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. He doesn't have very much break-away spead but he is really quick in and out of his cuts and has great ball carrier vision. He runs hard and is always going forward, and on top of the that he is amazingly strong for his size and breaks more tackles then you would except from a running back who is roughly 5"4 maybe shorter and doesn't weigh much.
Tim Wright La Marque 161 att  1,599 yds 9.93  avg   17tds              LeFrederick Ford                   141 att     1,044 yds         7.4   avg   13tds              Darrin Edwards                   116 att     827 yds   7.13 avg     6tds
IMO La Marque doesn't play any team that is on in our area and isn't even on the preview of the teams so thats a little out of southeast texas.
Southeast Texas is a subregion of East Texas located in the southeast corner of the U.S. state of Texas. The subregion is geographically centered around the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown and Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan areas. Parts of Southeast Texas overlap with Central Texas, and the region borders Acadiana and the Sabine River. here for a description of Southeast Texas
La Marque barely made the cut by about 8 or 9 students to stay in 4A. The same with El Campo and a few other schools this year. Like they say, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog." 20.
The videos are uploaded as wmv files and aren't hd (it would take too long to upload a 14 minute hd file from my home computer).  At the end of the year, I will sell a Blue Ray version of the videos.  I will try to resave the video as a mp4 file and see if it will reduce the file size.
I use Movavi video converter when I need to convert avi files to mpeg. It is a pretty useful tool, they have a free version you can try. If you are recording the games with a camera using the Mini Dv format you are probably editing the footage in the raw avi format. I normally render the highlights into the mpg4 format once I'm done editing(if you are uploading to YouTube). With the mpg4 format you are able to upload the file as HD. If I am rendering the entire game (which I do for replaying the games on Comcast Cable)I use the mpg2 format. It is a more user friendly file for that purpose. Keep up the good work, it takes a lot of time to do what you're doing. Here is the link  ]
 21. Are you rendering the footage in mpg4 format or flash?   High lights look good but you can get 720p in HD if rendered (decoded) in mpg4 format.
 22. 24-4A could arguably be one of the toughest, if not the toughest district in the state. If Ball High gets on track, all 7 teams in the district would have a legitimate shot at the playoffs in other districts. I feel the final four will not be decided until the final two weeks of the regular season. In regards to the Hi-Lights, they really do not give the total picture. Tim Wright is the real deal, or as we have labeled him to be "Top Gun" this year. He has incredible strength for his size and he is a superior blocker when he is not a ball carrier. We have a much better defense this year and the offensive line is making good progress. Emmanuel Williams (junior) still has to polish up on his passing game. Once that is done and the entire team learns the new offensive and defensive systems put into place this year, La Marque should make the playoffs. Once they get in.....who knows? Remember this is a group who has not been in that environment due to the fact La Marque has missed the playoffs the previous two years. And in La Marque, that is an eternity and simply put "Unacceptable". It has been 20 years since that has happened. As I'm sure most on this site know......we take our football very seriously. The 9 flags flying in the end zone are testament to that fact. So we'll see, as XLMCoog88 said "Only time will tell". By the way BMTSoulja1, it's good to see you are a Mod on this site. Very well deserved sir.

 25.
Can we consider LaMarque a contender again?
La Marque can answer that question if they make a good showing in district and make the playoffs
