I just dont like Tarkington. Mainly because i think the players just dont care about what they do year in and year out. I mean, come on, we play in a pretty weak district that isnt hard to win a few games in. Its obvious that Tarkington doesnt have alot of talent but for god sakes. How many times do you have to get killed 50-0 before you realize that you must be doing something wrong?? When there is a lack of talent that means you have to work harder. Anyone can relate to that...

definitly wernt big... theyre defense had a little speed though. theyre passing game was probably their only real strong point

oldtimer oldtimer oldtimer tell it how it is tarkington is going to lose and then theyre going to feel real stupid because they lost to the small school that they thought they could actually beat... brooks is so overrated only because hes the best player tarkingtons locker room has ever seen..... besides, anyone can be called a good passer when they throw 900 times a game and complete a couple passes... if brooks was anywhere else he wouldnt start on the second team defense...

they havnt made the playoffs in over 40 years i believe.

i think scrimmages are a huge help. In practice you usually dont get to see defenses do what theyre suppose to do.... for example...you get to see how a real defense will react to certain plays... where is in practice you dont see the scout team going full speed doing exactly what a real offense or defense would do... it really helps the players more than the coaches

Well both schools are bad but i think that Hardin will take this one. Probably going to be a high scoring game.. Im not sure about hardin but i do know that tarkington has no defense

ya i heard about us gettin a OC from BH....havnt seen him yet..hasnt been to a practice

gibbs played second team defense along with goodman and dalco...but all three had alot of time of offense saturday.. gibbs probably averaged around 15 ypc last saturday against sante fe... we looked pretty good throwing the ball even though we didnt throw much...seems like the protection up front isnt up to par yet.... i dont think we will throw much vs. bc...but i do think we will work more on our passing againt orangefield this friday...

tarkington is BAD... not in a good way though

I remember the year that liberty went 10-0 then lost in the first round of the playoffs....the next year, after losing around 13 or 14 seniors(approx.), won about 7 games.....so just because Bh is going to be missing those guys were all used to seeing, doesnt mean they cant go out and win district.... besides,,,Bh always plays hard.........thats exactly why the liberty-BH games were always so intense...where Bh lacked talent they made up for with effort and will....BH is going to come out and play. What we should be talking about is whos going to step up and beat Bh in their district...BH basicly dominated them last year(besides Crosby). Im not sure if yall are giving credit where its due...
