Yeah i have to agree with draftbus. I played on a high school baseball team in the mid 90's for East Chambers. We had 4 or 5 all state ball players and only one of them played more than one year of college ball. They were awesome in high school, but that doesnt translate to a successful college career much less making it to the pros. So you could pick the best high school players in the nation and the game wouldnt be close.

Congrats EC. Not a bad showing against the #1. Just unfortunate we faced them in just the second round.

what kind of team does milbern academy have. does anyone know anything about them.

East Chambers finished their stadium this past football season with new visitor and home seating, new pressbox, new concessiong stands. And i heard something about new turf, not sure what kind of turf though. They are also resurfacing the track. Nice facility for a small school.

Deweyvilles is very nice for a small school. I hear EC is building a very nice gym should be completed by next year. I also like the current one at EC.

ECBucfan you are right there does seem to be alot of stink talk from the opposition.

whoever wins district will have to play perfect football....The district is anybodies right now. Still think EC is one of the favorites, and after this game i would have to put Hardin as a heavy favorite as well. I didnt expect this close of a game. I think the rest of the district will have to go through EC and Hardin. Heck of a game the hornets played. Good luck the rest of the year.

Wasnt the passing game supposed to be too much for the bucs last year. Wasnt it a very lopsided victory for the bucs as well. Better luck next year.

No hard feelings here. we lost to a good Newton team. Just didnt expect it to be so lopsided. Anyways, just getting us more prepared for district. And to all you Buc haters out there, i have seen some of your non district competition. Enough said.
