I agree...and believe that most coaches aren't even aware of these rankings until the news shows up!!!  Regardless, it should be viewed as a complement and an honor to the school & communities that receive this honor!!!  COngrats to all!  :)

The season is still young, but what do you think the final standings will be for 20-4A and 21-3A?????  I'd like to know your thoughts on this.[color=crimson] ???[b][/b][/color]

Congrats, Coach Matthews (BC) to you & your girls.  Heard they didn't exactly play on the top of their game, but glad they got the win!!  Great Victory for a Great Coach!

I was scouting at the game Hardin played at Bridge City last Friday, and the coach got carded after multiple warnings of challenging the calls.  It may have actually been an assistant coach, but the call wasn't getting overturned---nor will it ever.  Again, great team though!!!

I agree that Hardin has a strong team---with a couple HARD hitters.  However, the coach is good, but needs to not challenge basic rules of the game---yellow cards can easily become red cards.  Great season, though!!!  Keep it up!

As always, just a reminder:  the kids DO read this.  And the kids are who we love & support!  I realize that this is a discussion page, but why not give opinions without all the trash talking.  Every good athlete knows the old quote, "when you lose, say little; when you win, say less."  Why not give praise to these kids...commenting on the positive things that they do---rather than saying things such as, "my hometown is going to beat your hometown team..."  I apologize for what I am about to say, but that is a little childish.  Sorry! :-\

Congrats to OF!  I'm sure both teams were battling!!! 

Has anyone heard the latest on the Orangefield players suspended?  It may just be a rumor, but was curious if I was the only one that heard it.  Anyhow, let's just hope it's a good ole' small town rumor---I like that better!!
