1.
Reading all of this doom and gloom on the Dayton post are making me depressed; D Remember the good ole days when Dayton beat BH 54-0 ! Man that seems like it was just last year! Anywho, FB has definitely figured out something and they can be a spoiler (ask Lee) When Crosby played them they said the FB was the same ole FB, but when BH played them they did pretty good despite a 28-0 route. There QB is the whole show, Basically he just ran around the field looking for an open receiver while BH chased him around  He did find an open receiver an connect too. He seems very poised and now the team will have some confidence! Dayton has always beat FB ,but for some strange reason they always play Dayton pretty good compared to the rest of the district. Just like last week though I predict Dayton in a win, but it may not be easy. Dayton 28 FB 14
Get out of the smokin ones stash BHFAN...................... I believe you mean NF ??? Any how I agree that NF will take the same formula that every team that has beat DA BRONX takes.........................Its no secret RUN RIGHT AT EM  ;D The BRONX NATION fan in wants to believe that this is the week we see the same team we saw in the first 3 weeks of da season before we inherited the BH TU-TU but this Friday will tell the tell.  ;D
 2. GP doesnt have enough meat in da seat to stop the BH run. Ugly by half  BH 35 - GP 7... Only because GAGE has respect for the other team in dis one  ;)
 3.
Maybe Dayton Transplant has something Maybe that "shut up and play" attitude is whats wrong Maybe Bronx you should change the subtitle under your icon "no offence. ..no defence....no problem" ????  ITS A PROBLEM
Well with your 2 post I know you are new to the forum so I will cut you some slack. All I'm sayin is any program that the players run not the coaches watches football games from da stands not the sidelines come playoff time. Question for you............ Ask #1 who is sitting on da sidelines how much he cares about the coaches "philosophy" compared to his chance to be on da field at 100%. ANSWER.... #1 just wants to be out there no matter what ANYBODYS says. Put your gear on and be proud to represent a program that anybody would love to have half the sucess that it has have for the last 15 years. So again I will stick by SHUT UP AND PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 4. DA BRONX better clinch their jock straps and bring da wood this Friday or its gonna be a long off season  ;D
 5.
Listen to the players and you will know whats wrong with Dayton. More to come.
Talk is cheap bottom line is those "players" you want to listen to are getting out work on da field Friday nights............. SHUT UP AND PLAY  ;D
Those players better read the rest of the sign "DONT LET THA DOOR HIT YA WHERE THE GOOD LORD SPLIT YA" better realize quick the team is above all else or dont need ya anyway and BIG STU will be the first to agree  ;)
What you say may be true with the new head coach, and thats proven already, and thats his style, but because you dont like a kids cocky attitude you cant send him to the door, other wise you lose great players, And I'm sure you will come back an say Big Stewart was that way, Well im here to tell you are wrong if you do, he knew how to get the best out what he had,  but since we cant realy name bad players who were allowed to play, and they were the "BIG" play makers, and thats the reason we won, with out kids like them, Dayton will be a "so so' team, and yes there are good kids who play great, but it takes the good and bad to make a team, and i just don't see the new coach with his attitude seeing it that way, and no it doesn't make him a bad person for thinking that way,
Cocky attitude and disrespect are two different terms.  ;) Respect is earned not given and it works both ways players and coaches 8)
 7. BIG STU half time speech  - (BIG STU)Gentlemen we have pads / helmets / cleats / jerseys what am I missing. (PLAYER) mouth pieces ???? (BIG STU) close what i'm missing IS THE GD FOOTBALL PLAYERS THAT GO WITH THE EQUIPMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! forgot to mention we were up by 17

 9.
Wheres the fire at on the sidelines ? In years past there was ALWAYS someone ranting and raving on the Broncos sideline Haven't seen that this year. Could that be part of the problem ?
mostly BIG STU  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 10.
Good Post BRONX ROX... Number 1...No difference in BH and Dayton fans.  Always a couple that just like to rattle chains, and that's fun to see. Number 2...It's great when you're on the rise, and the longer your up there, the tougher it is as you begin to slide...But let's face it, Dayton is going through hard times w/ injurys, more so than the coaching change.  The injurys, piling up can create frustration from every direction. Number 3...The coaching staffs of neither team caused  the 5/8 turnovers.  But, that's when strength begins to show, especially in a team that shows some character.  Overcoming injurys and turnovers indicates something special.  In the past, it's been Dayton.  Right now, it's BH.  At any point that can turn around...As they always say, "Isn't that why they play the game?" Number 4...Lets hope that all injurys are healed quickly, and that no more injurys occur for any of our teams, from any Region, or District.
GUILTY AS CHARGED  ;D  Just pointing out there are multiple things not just "coaching certificates"  ;)
 11. You can control the game 2nd / 3rd string / play calling but any kid on da field should be expected to go 100%. I have seen alot of injuries when kids are half steppin cause of a big lead.
 12.
I support the bronx win or lose I have been to probably 100 games the last 10 years but this team just isnt that good right now doesnt mean I wont be out there with my kids cheering for them.
Wasn't singling you bronco pride  ;D  We all see the issues right now and let em doubt DA BRONX but things will come full circle  8)

 14.
This one could get out of hand early... Brenham  68 Northbrook 0
After the first qrt I see BREN suiting up the pep squad / cheerleaders / wood wind section of da band and still getting a shut out ;D ;D ;D ;D
 15.
Not everyone in dayton thinks its going to be alright. Our defense is horrible the team looks lost the best football player in 19 4a has never recovered from his injury our best receiver and linebacker are both hurt and we lost one of the best coaches around so no everything is not alright.
Thats part of football but regardless ANY TRUE BRONX FAN WILL  "support" the team / players / coaches / cheerleaders / band / steppers / mascot / trainers / water boy and any one else out there representing DA BRONX.  ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D
 16.
Bronxrox you forgot about joe duff I think he led us in tackles last year
True Dat......  Just sayin we all knew the waters were gonna be rough this year but thats how it is when you have a sucessful program year in year out.
 17.
Everybody is quitting. They suck because of that. They should be in second but they are not. North Forest will beat them next week. I am calling an upset. BH is raw this year. And GCM is also good. So they lost to two good teams. BH is going to go deep in playoffs because of their defense.
What I like about all the BH tards is last year when they got taken to da wood shed ( 54-0 is hard to forget) all we heard about was about new coach / new system. Yet they squeak one out against a team with a new coach / new system (play calling is totally different) and they are the best thing since slice bread ;D Plain and simple DAYTON WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS but lets break it down for those who really want to know......................................................................................... OFFENSE - The best player (JD) who we all hoped would be 100% is sitting on da sidelines. The second best player (#20) has been hurt since the 1st qrt of the BH game. DA PONY been nursing an ankle and (Mundo) is gone. Chambers is seeing a CB / DB over the top every play because he is the only "big play" threat right now. DEFENSE - TO LIGHT IN DA HIP POCKET plain and simple. The LBs probably average 145 and against "power running" teams we are going to struggle. The DBs / CBs have to support the run so much that they are getting in bad positions 1 one 1  and having to drop back from near the LOS. The front 3 are doing a good job but are running out of the play up field pass rushing when you know teams are gonna run it down your throat. COACHING - REPLACING A LEGEND ISN'T EASY. You would say they all have been there but they are all new to "calling" the plays. On O we used to set up the pass with the run and now we are trying to set up the run with the pass and it has hurt the rhythm of the O. On D replacing RIP / WRIGHT / BALDWIN / BOOTH / POWELL has been a challenge and when you loose all that size you cant just stand there and wait you have to mix it up and actually move towards the LOS not two steps back when the ball is snapped. Where I think the coaching has struggled this year is trying to stick with the "status quo" instead of adjusting to the personnel you have. Overall we knew this year would be a challenge and besides the GCM game (which 5 TOs will do ask BH from last year) DA BRONX have been there in every game. Its easy to smile when you are blowing out every team every week but now is the time to really find out what kind of team you have when all the chips are on da table. We all (BRONX NATION) have faith in you boys and COACHES the only way to shut up the nai sayers to to show it on da field ;D
 18.
Two programs that have been great seem to be struggling this year (WOS and Dayton)...despite how good their replacements may be and despite the fact that they both came from within the system, there is still a transition and it is showing for both of these programs this year...just validates how difficult it is to replace a legendary coach...I don't think you can lose leaders like that and just assume business as usual...it's possible, just harder than people make it seem.
true dat razor
 19.
That's what the Bronco fan's say every week. Every week they say just wait till next week. We'll figure it out and get back to our winning ways. IMO i think Dayton just doesn't have it this year and everyone in Dayton's fan base just can't accept it lol. You need more than a winning tradition to win. Thats what really gets me going on this site. Most of the fans of the Big school aka central, ned, png, dayton, silsbee, and wos, think that they will win every game no matter how much talent the other team has or how good there record this year is or how good there stats are. They think that a winning tradition will automatically get them a win and sometimes that is true but most of the time it isn't. And if there team gets one win they are like we are back and we won't lose any more this year. And if they lose to a team who is not a "big team" then they are saying just wait till next week or if we did this or did that. Excuses excuses excuses. And in order for a "non big team" to get respect they basically have to go through the entire season and lose like one or two in order for everyone to give them the respect they deserved at the beginning of the season. Now i'm not saying every fan of the "big schools" are like this. There are a few who are genuine and give respect where it is deserved. And i thank them for that. Okay i'm done with my rant for the week.  8)
I can tell your not used to lining up with teams and dominating EVERY YEAR. The expectation should be high EVERY game. RESPECT IS EARNED OVER TIME NOT OVER NIGHT  ;)
 20. ITS TIME TO TAKE OFF DA TU TUs BOYS AND MAKE EVERY ONE REMEMBER WHAT TEAM HAS DOMINATED / OWNED / AND PLUM SPANKED THEM FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. DONT TAKE IT PERSONAL NF BUT ITS TIME TO BUY IN OR GET OUT.
 21.
why did choate quit early last spring?? why did mondo quit last week. lets hope mondos mom doesnt find out why he really quit she wilk own that team! supposedly hancock has the only coaching certifacate this year atleast thats what he told a player...YOU WANNA KNOW WHY DAYTON ISNT ANY GOOD...ASK THE PLAYERS THAT QUIT BOTH STARTERS LAST YEAR...DO SOME DIGGING FOLKS
Question for you................How many practices / games have you watched ??? It starts in practice so that should answer half your question if you REALLY know da team  ;)
