All being said, BH is much better than Dayton or anyone else in district this year.   ;)
HEARD IT MANY TIMES.....................SEEN IT NONE  :o ;D
You need to get out more BH beats Dayton 30 times a year ;D
Your on da wrong thread for that ;) We talkin foooosball not chess or debate club :-*
YOU SURE RIGHT ;D  The lack of "intensity" was in da stands as well as the field. Come next Friday think there will be a little more feel in da air. ;D
 8.
Bronco 9th/jv did well in their limited scrimmage.Varsity I saw some good things coming out of the match-up for both teams. For Nederland I thought they executed their game plan pretty well mixing the run/pass and good second effort to keep the chains moving while consuming alot of clock time. For Dayton the overall team speed was better than Ned's as Broncos capitalized on some long passes/runs and seemed complacent @ times dropping good passes while looking to run before catching.Positives/negatives senario;Dayton kicking+ Ned -and the game was closer than the outcome w/the inconsistent Bulldog kicking game.Mid 4th qtr.both teams looked tired and neither could keep a drive going trading punts 8)
Your just spoiled liltex watchin the breed of Carrancos for the last 10 yrs ;D

 10.
Andres looked pretty good. Made a real nice chunk of about 30-35 yds. for a TD to Fowler. Not real sure where the first team ended and the second team started. Looked like Dayton was running different players on every series. Prolly getting looks at everybody. Overall the offense looked pretty good. Defense still needs some work though. I thought they were pretty scrappy early then they started playing alot of different kids. I thought the secondary was the weakest link though. As it is every year. No suprise there. Nederlands got some big old boys!
Fowler will be starting corner when they start to count. ;)
 11.

#15 Mcbride RB for Dayton was injured and had to be carried off the field by a couple of spectators ( maybe one was his dad ) -
Yea, forgot to mention that. Hope the kid's okay. Looked like maybe an ankle. Not real sure.
Talked to Pappa McBride and DA PONY just rolled his ankle a bit. A little ice and a couple of days rest he will be fine ;)
 12.
How did Dayton's starting QB look?
Herrea looked good but the receivers had some drops tonight that are usually money in da bank. Tell u what Marcain has some wheels and adds a twist to the O and has some wondering. Not me though because Herrea does a great job managing the O and does not force the ball. If its not there he will tuck it and take 3 instead of throwing a INT. He did a good job but like I stated earlier the "intensity" was not there tonight.
 13. NED did what u have to do to DA BRONX.........Keep the ball away from the O. NED did a good job of burning the clock and had good play calling. DAY did not look interested from about the middle of the 2nd qrt on. I dont put alot of stock in scrimmages but DAY better wake up and show some intensity come next Friday or its not gonna be nice. IMO ;D
 14. so is it today or tomorrow  ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? FINAL ANSWER

 17.
Not all of Spring but that qb is a great 1,tall/muscular and very quick.Reminds me of Diggs speed on a 6'2 220 lb.frame.Ned is well coached program and will play hard.Match-up will benefit both clubs ;)
True but you could of drove a mack truck through the holes in the middle of the D. Inside LBs were biting on the misdirection not staying at home. The O-Line were monsters on Spring. NED will be just as tough so hope our boys bring the hats. ;)
 18. Just hope both teams come out healthy. I want to see the adjustments the D is gonna make cause Spring ran all over em. Should be a good scrimmage.
 19.
I've read with interest a couple of comments and thought this needed to be stated. Jerry Stewart has retired as head football coach of Dayton but remains athletic director. Take keen notice that this did not require a hire from outside for a new head coach and a complete turnover. All the coaches currently on staff have worked under Stewart for years. Not only IS Jerry Stewart a great coach, but he's an even BETTER teacher. These coaches, from head coach down to trainer know how Jerry did it. They agree with how he did it and they'll continue to do it that way, not because they owe it to Coach Stewart, but because it works. So, if you were hoping for some fall-off or confusion after Jerry Stewart, forget it. His influence will be with this team for a long time to come. The fact that he may be standing in the endzone or on the track is insignificant. He's there because he wants to be. He cares about his coaches, he cares about his team and he cares about the Dayton Broncos. Afterall, he spent as much time as Dayton's head coach as he did all his previous places combined, so why wouldn't he?  As far as being undermined or felt under his thumb, poppycock and a random accusation from someone who would probably feel that way were they in Hancock's position. I'm not going to speak for Hancock, but I know enough about him to know he doesn't the least bit feel threatened. In fact, I would say that he knows where Stewart is and knows he can go to him anytime and that anytime Coach Stewart might have something to say to him he'll be glad to listen because that's the way it's always been. Dayton is going to be fine. Some of you will see for yourselves Thursday night.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;)
Fowler looked great ! Looks to be bigger, taller and faster than last year . Still makes hard catches look easy . While in motion recieved the hand-off and ran around the end for a TD.Offense looked crisp ,but "D" needs some work. Couldn't get any pressure on their QB and would leave big holes in the middle , but did tighten up the second half. I'm sure when we get into the real season some of the studs from offense will play both ways and take care of business as usual. For a first outing against a 5a team the Bronco's looked good !
Marcain is gonna see alot of passes his way also. Reyes looked good and I believe it was St. Andre that saw some snaps and had a couple of good runs off the bubble.
I guess the image is burnt in my brain after all these years ;D
 22. That was Smoking Baby in disguise ;)
 23. Could of swore I saw that beat up cammo hat pacing the sidelines tonight ;) ;D :D
 24. Offense - Started a little shaky but got it rolling after the first two series. McBride gave em fits. Gotta wrap that littl pony up. O-line did a good job in protection and opening holes. We all know the O will be fine. The back up QB (Marcain sp ) did a great job and sure can scramble. Defense - " HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM "  :D :D Just playin. D-line for the most part did their job but lacked that "HAVOC" Wright created last year. Dayton usually has that big nose to plug the middle but didnt see it tonight. Big Oubs did start getting some snags at nose and the D stiffened. The D backs which I thought would be our strength struggled a little and their were some new jerseys out there and the starters from last year were O only. ??? Probally gettin a look to see if some kids wont have to go both ways. The LBs is where Da Bronx struggled the most. Callin it now #32 on the JV will be playin LB next week on the varsity. Overall Da Bronx looked good and I have no doubt the coaching staff will shore up the D. Did talk to Delasbour and he is chomping at tha bit but said he will not step on the field till BH more than likely. To all you in SETX you will be hearing about Carranco's 85 yard field goal from LilTex for the rest of the year but I'll let him tell ya about it :D :D :D :D :D
