T Lang gets my vote

Great game  ;D Cant win them all but the Rockets showed up. D-Wade carried the Heat and did get alot of "superstar" calls that didnt help the Rockets. Even after the loss I fell like the Rockets are really staring to mesh and are in a good position for a run at the playoffs.  ;D

[/quote] If that was the case La Marque would not have made the playoffs this year. ;) [/quote] Rarely does that happen though.  It might motivate them like it did last year.  Last year they barely missed the playoffs, so they were hungry this year when they made it.  I just think something should be done, cuz there's no way a 2-8 or 3-7 team should make the playoffs.  It would make a playoff appearance a lot more rewarding.  We all know the district LaMarque comes from, so in their case it's understandable, but in most cases it waters the playoffs down. [/quote] If that was the case La Marque would not have made the playoffs this year. ;) [/quote] Neither would Houston Memorial, tied for 3rd with Katy Taylor, but went as 4th place team due to loss to Taylor.  Made it to the Semi-finals where they lost to Cibolo Steele.   I say let 'em play, there are upsets every year by the 3rd and 4th place teams. [/quote] Seen alot of those 3-7 teams surprise a 10-0 team. I like the 4 teams because in some districts the 3 / 4 team is better than the 1/2 team of another district. ;D

It does drag but 2 good bands does help.

Thats what im talkin about ;D Right now if the foul is 20 yrds down the field the O only gets 5 yrds and a 1st down. This encourages the D to commit the penalty instead of making the play.

Now days parents will move to certain schools / areas to give their kids the chance to play for big name programs to get reconized. Not a whole bunch of it but it is not uncommon

I believe the top teams in 3A / 4A  can beat the average 5A teams but the issue is depth and # of players the 5A schools have. The top 1-5 players on each team is about the same but when you get to 6-10 and so on the 5A schools do not have as much drop off in talent. Most 3A / 4A teams a majority of the kids play both ways and in 5A there is enough talent to play specific positions. As the game goes on it takes a toll on the players lining up on a fresh player every other down.

1. Pass interference 5 yrd penalty instead of at the spot of the foul   2. Refs instead of wearing black/white wear purple/white ;D

Been the Rockets MO for ever..............To little to late ;) Had a chance to get something for YAO last season and now you got damaged goods. Maybe they can pull off a semi-pro trade and atleast get a washed up vet for a player just as good as a washing machine ;D

Better to do something now than wait and be to late. It takes a while to get the chemistry so I give them props for doing "something" whether right or wrong ;D

Rockets are starting to play some ball now. I like the tempo they are playing with and think they just might sneak in the 7th or 8th spot for the playoffs.
