  1. Just kidding- it's still on. Their game yesterday got cancelled.
  2. The Rice/Texas game should be amazing. Last year I went to Minute Maid when they played each other in a preseason tournament and the game basically went down to the last out. The crowd was huge.
  3. Are you posing this question in all seriousness?
  4. Soccer in this area (Golden Triangle & surrounding) doesn't get half the support it does around Houston, both in and out of high school. The only major competitive club is Spindletop, with Gulf Coast and Orange each adding a few Div. II teams. Only a few play year-round.
  5. insane
  6. That must have been an emotional day, even if the girls didn't show it.
  7. Go Drew Bean!!
  8. I support drug testing for any student in any extracurricular activity or that drives to school. The flaw I've noticed is that most druggies aren't very involved in school activities. For those who are more involved, drinking is a bigger problem than drugs.
  9. Wow. Didn't BYU beat the Cardinals last year? (beat as in creamed)
  10. southlake carroll. my cousin played football and baseball there.
  11. I don't know the mascot names at all. 2, 4, 6, and 10 were easy to me.

  13. Bridge City & LCM
  14. Vidor did a little bit better but I think LCM is the most improved.
  15. That was kind of insane.
  16. No one is more deserving; no athlete in Southeast Texas works harder than Drew does. MAJOR congratulations!!
  17. I don't know about it happening here, but that kid should be kicked off the team. There's no pride or discipline in stunts like that.
  18. Congrats, Bears. You guys definitely stepped up this season.
  19. When the topic of the thread is targetted to taunt a specific individual, I'd consider that rubbing it in someone's face. Congrats to Nederland, anyway.
  20. They just re-started.
  21. I played basketball with Brittany in the Upward league when I was in intermediate school; she has always been a natural basketball phenomenon. Even then, no one wanted to be assigned defend her. Congrats to Brittany & her family.
  22. Leland Douglas graduated from Ozen, went to Baylor on a football scholarship, and then played receiver for the Dolphins during the Dan Marino era. Now he coaches at LCM.
