Who's the winner in the Crosby-Montgomery matchup and the winner coming out of D-1 4A Reg 3 bracket?

On Dobbins I know he has offers from Rice and McNeese State already and probably more- someone else on board might know. Size is probably the issue from big school D-1 because the kid can flat out play and has a great attitude/grades, they are missing out on a winner. Good video their Mark Barnes.

Montgomery-42 Crosby-28 Lots of offense-probably not a whole lot of defense-turnovers and defensive stops will be keys to the game. Montgomery should be motivated after getting eliminated by Crosby last year. But this is the playoffs and we have all seen anything and everthing can happen. You have to be focused and not beat yourself (turnovers/penalty), the teams keep getting better each round and will make you pay for your mistakes.

Just shows you can throw records and previous years out the window. When playoffs start its who wants it the most.

A little Karma for The Woodlands last night. Last week multiple fans where posting about having an "easy win" homecoming game against Conroe in a local paper (even the column on the game concieded the game for The Woodlands before it was played), Conroe is in a huge downyear. Congrats Klein Oak for putting the money-arrogance bunch to rest in their HOME STADIUM. I'm your biggest fan this year from here on out.

Sorry Rollinac -I wasn't trying to argue your statement. I meant if you had seen Stratford play early in the year against Montgomery, they played like a completely different team. They have improved tons over early in the year on both sides of the ball. I thought Brenham would dominate them also.

Nice to meet you guys. Congrats to Brenham District Champs- also Brenham did not play that bad to me- Stratford stepped up and played that good. Now having their starting QB back and a speedy back, plus a decent D, they will not be an easy out in the playoffs.

Aledo is going to be even harder to stop this year. Trey Ozee was the backup QB last year in the championship game for Aledo. Matthew Bishop got hurt against Denison and is a great passer (1500+ yards). Brenham can do it, but Aledo will be even more balanced and harder to defend. Brenham coach will need a great game plan to win.

Many offenses are ranked ahead of Montgomery this year. Look at last years stats (total team offense for 4A for year 09-10) when same team was HEALTHY the whole year. Same players and against better district competition last year. [Hidden Content],passing/national.htm

I'm stating how good Brenham is. Dobbins was out for 3 games and has played 2 Qtrs (8 carries) in the last two games. Those numbers do not mean anything. Montgomery offense could have run the stats up but have stopped at HALFTIME. Believe what you want. The playoffs will be a judge for the future.

Brenham is that awful team off 105W by the Blue Bell plant that made a run to the state championship game last year in D2 that basically returned its whole starting roster. They also shutout in the second half basically one the best offenses in 4A Montgomery , and is probably one of the best coached and talented defense in the state. No they aren't so big and bad.  ;)

Brenham-42 Stratford-10 Brenham should take care of business

Listened to the Stratford-Waller game. Waller had some guys get hurt on d side and fumbled 3 times in own end. Stratford running back had 108 yds 3 tds and was just moved up from the JV team last week they said on the radio.

Stratford-31  Waller-0  Final.  Montgomery-66  Northbrook-0 Final Looks like Brenham has it well in hand also.
