Man, I thought Dayton was gonna pull this one out tonight!!! Came right down towards the end. YES, you are so right about them scoring points again. Imagine if we'd've been running the Spread all year instead of that horrific failure of the Option we were trying to run. 😣 I still get the Red A** over that. I'm not saying that we'd be winning all these games, but at least our kids would have had more practice with the Offense, more time to improve their skills, more time to learn and understand their responsibilities. Glad to see they are at least in games now, not getting blasted.

NS could've played one of their 8th grade teams and beat Sterling's varsity. Man, that is bad.

Neither one of these teams are very good, but at least Dayton scored some points in this one. Glad to see them back in the spread. Hopefully they can improve and pull out a couple of wins this year.

Man, this sounds like it was a fantastic game, wish I would've went to see this game instead of the atrocity in Dayton that I watched. Congratulations to the Longhorns, glad to see what's going on over there!!!!

I was trying to stay positive in the lead up to this game. I thought maybe things just weren't firing right. But after Friday's performance, I regrettably have to say it.. This might be the worst FB team in all of SETX. It is a complete failure. No high school football team should be this bad. Especially one with such a history of high performance over the last 25 years. I don't even know what to say about how bad Dayton Bronco football is, I mean this is like some old Houston Scarborough type stuff. Less than 100yds of offense AGAIN. Shut out on the scoreboard AGAIN. Terrible, absolutely terrible.

I know what you're saying is probably true, I'm just trying to find something positive to say. You never know, maybe this week their "new" offense will take shape and score a few TD's? It doesn't look too good, but I'm hoping...

I remember the old days late 80's when HF was pretty dang good. I'm sure everyone remembers the Malveaux (sp?) kid that went to Michigan, but they had some real good players that came after him for awhile also. I like that HF is making a turn, to be competitive again.

It's no secret that I have loved watching the Broncos play over the last 20 years, but unfortunately the program is sliding into the abyss. But... I am no bandwagon fan, so I am gonna close my eyes and shoot for the moon!!!! Dayton 21 - Crosby 14.

Ok, I see what you're saying. It's just kinda unusual to see it expressed that way. Normally when talking about yardage in a game, people are thinking Offensively, but I see that wasn't what you meant.
