1. I'll take Buna in a track meet. The over/under could be 100 and I'd still take the over. Should be fun to watch!
2. Great pics!  Like the oil Derrick on the helmets!  Haven't seen those in quite a while. ;) Keep dominating oilers! Looking good!
3. Tigers looking a bit too strong lately for me to bet against them.  Silsbee by 17 points in a hard fought game against a talented Newton team.
4. Brookshire must have lost a lot since their playoff run last year where they took down perennial power WO-S in a close battle. Good job Cleveland!  Way to bounce back!
5. I agree. Keeping within 30 points of coldsprings is just not something anyone in their district will be able to do. Liberty will likely make a playoff run this year, and they do look much better this year than in previous ones.. But that being said, they haven't played any strong teams yet. They're hanging 40 points every week on teams, but the same teams are being pushed all over the field by local 1A's and 2A's also. (talented small schools, but small schools nonetheless) That being said, I don't know of many local 4A teams that could stay on the field with Coldspring this year.  (I'll probably get blasted for that but it's my opinion) Good luck Trojans. Bring that title back to setx this year!
6. West Hardin making some noise!  8) Looking good, but next week should be a good test, as Kountze is off to a great start as well. Don't know if these teams have ever met with flawless records on the line lol. Should be a good one to watch, as these two possible playoff teams collide In Hardin County.
7. How many yards does the running back have for BR?
8.

Come on Stangs!!!  Its time to MARCH!!!!!
;D
;)
9. I guess its all about how two teams match up against one another.  :-\
10. Come on Stangs!!!  Its time to MARCH!!!!!
11. I think they'd have a similar showing in 3A. They played Brownwood in 7 on 7 this year and only lost by 2 points. They're very good. Keep your head up Newton, play til the clock runs out and be proud of yourselves for a winning season.  ;)
12. No matter how much you root for a team, an over-confident fan can always leave a bitter taste in your mouth.  ::) Good luck Kats, its a tough road ahead!
13. Thanks Joharr! Keep us posted!! Go Oilers! Lets end this year on a good note!
14. I'm gonna go with the heavy favorite EC but Kountze has been known to derail the bucs in the past when favored or at least give them a scare! I'll say EC 28 Kountze 6, but don't overlook anyone in this district.
15. Good point. The 4-3 record is decieving. Dayton always has a puncher's chance with the undeniable athleticism they have year after year. Pretty dominant in district play so far, Broncs. Keep it coming. Go SETX!! I'd like to see 1A-5A titles all go to SETX teams. (not probable, but I'd sure like it.) ;)
16. Groveton by 4 scores. Groveton has quite the team this year. Loving San Augustine's enthusiasm but I don't think they can handle Groveton's talent. Don't think this one will be close.
17. Brenham and Kirbyville have the best chances, Though I'm curious to see how the 10-2A DI fair after coming out of one of the most competitive district races in years. Sorry Evadale, I don't think you've played anyone and a 1pt. win over Deweyville and a 1 score win over Trinity aren't very impressive. Most 1A state champions can beat 85-95% of 2A's pretty handily.  Lovelady & West Sabine (though they're in a different Divison in 1A, they're still 1A), Cayuge, and several powerful 1A schools around the state could make short work of the Rebs I'm afraid. I'm rooting for the rebs in the playoffs, but don't think they'll make it past the first round or two.
18. Hardin's lopsided loss to Woodville, and inability to stop a hard running Buna squad makes it hard to say this, but If Hardin can get their offense rolling, I'm gonna say the Hornets stay close, and put themselves in a position toward the end of the game for the upset. After watching them at EC, hard to believe the scores they have been posting the lately. This district is unbelievable and impossible to predict. With the exception of Warren (sorry Warriors, not your year), I think any team can beat the others on the right night. No juggernaut here, although several of these 2A teams would be in several districts in the state. Gonna be exciting to see who gets what seed.
19. Lions and Tigers Hard to Bare, Oh My!! West Sabine Trounces Lovelady. Oil Spill Caused by HD not BP, as the Bobcats Mop Up the Oilers.
20. Cat Fight!! LOL I'm gonna say Kirby-ma-ville takes this one 42-20. Jasper seems to have a lot of heart but The cats are a little too much for just about anyone in SETX right now. Good luck Kirbyville and heres to both teams staying injury free and playing the best game they can. The leaves are turning, the shadows are getting long, and the announcer's voice and drum cadence echoes throughout the surrounding areas before kickoff. Its the fall of the year and its Friday Night in Texas!! Ya'll Ready for some Football!!??
21. Evadale by a bunch. Good luck to both teams and hopes to no injuries... or West Nile.  :-\
