Chris Rupp is the head coach for baseball. Good coach. Coached North Shore, San Jac and Sam Houston State. -

Hey coach.....I hope all is well with you. It is just like I thought.....double Tyler at all times and force the others to beat you...it is going to be a tough road ahead. -

UK....log off the school computer and get back to class......this is a waste of whatever district you attend tax money. -

UKCats......what an idiot. Tyler is a great kid who will do all he can and then some to help his team. Anybody that knows sports will tell you this years team will have their share of troubles. You do not lose Letsinger, Simmons and Tomlinson and just keep on going. Calling him...in your words..."their highly overrated stud".....is uncalled for. He would start and more than just contribute to most teams in this area. -

ADs predict tough sledding for new school
hssportsfan replied to BearWolf's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
It will be tough sledding.......the already low talent pool in Baytown is split again......they should start just a JV team at least the first year. -
*West Hardin 57 High Island 28 FINAL/COMMENTS*
hssportsfan replied to Bobcatfan4life's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I left with 3:00 minutes til half and WH was up 57-6. -
I agree with you Kent.....this is tough to read. The only feedback I can give is: If Ima is on the team I have to think they are gonna be hurt when grades come out. Catman....how are you this year?
-
West Hardin plays a combined 7th and 8th grade team in the 8th grade schedule. They beat Kountze 32-27. I believe that was the final.

Baytown Lee 28 Baytown Sterling 0
hssportsfan replied to gary-us-bonds's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Report in the Baytown Sun is a broken leg for Jarvis Moore. That is gonna hurt them in district. But Panama is right, alot of rain and Olin just trying to get the game over with....Sterling is in sad shape. -
**Hardin 28 Warren 6 FINAL/COMMENTS**

Congrats on your season so far Hardin...what a turnaround. Sounds like coach Haynes brought Lee's spread offense with him to the Hornets and has it working. -
Lee was built in the mid to late 1920's. So it is old.
-
My understanding is that Lee is over capacity and Sterling is right at capacity. They should have torn Lee down back in 86 or so when it burned and built a new school out by Stallworth. Had RSS be a 9th and 10th grade campus and a new 11th and 12th grade campus.
-
Another factor in the grandfathering is if a child's parents have alot of money tied up in an organization (Stars, Cheerleading etc..) and not wanting to have to switch schools and lose all of that investment. But panama, won't this only affect juniors to be, not just anyone who wants to stay?
-
Depending on the grandfathering outcome I heard that Memorial might be a 3A to start. I look for Lee to be history in the future and Sterling and Memorial to be the two high school system in Baytown.

Post Jr. High Football Scores Here
hssportsfan replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I think my son said WH won 32-27. Not real sure of the exact score, but it was 5-7 point difference. This is the junior high Thursday night. -
I too wish Kent were still here, but he isn't. WHSalum is right, you have to move when the resume is hot. Kent made no bones about it, his wishes were to move closer to home when the opportunity presented itself. He is in a great situation where he moved. He will be missed at WH for more reasons than his ability to coach. He was a great person and the kids loved him. I have a young one coming up and wish Kent would have been his coach. As for Coach Westfall coaching basketball, I do not know his credentials. I just hope the kids don't get short changed in basketball because football is priority one. Tyler is good kid and a good basketball player but the supporting cast he will have is not as rounded as last years. It will take a lot of work and solid team play to be successful this year. Big Sandy is going to be tough to beat this year. Solid team with a good coach.

Best QB To Ever Come Out Of Your School?
hssportsfan replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
CATMAN, What really helped Tate out was the defense was bad so he had to play longer in the game which turned into more yards. But, he could throw the ball.
