I know he does sunshine. I am not trying to stop opinions. The reason we all know he does, is that it is repeated day after day, same thing...over and over....non stop....we get it, move on. Let discuss maybe most comfortable stands in a high school arena in SE Texas.

Yak Yak, I do not think you should correct anyone on grammer. After reading the above masterpiece authored by none other than yourself it is quite clear you are no literary genius. That is one heck of a sentence you constructed there. Now, back to the game. Most WH posters on here, who have been here more than 5 posts, aren't assuring a win. They just are backing their team. Let's end this. Ltown thinks he knows all. People who know basketball know the truth. There are many deserving players in this area. Any of those mentioned are worthy of the honor. WH folks like Brandon and we say so. HJ folks like Donahoe and they post as such. Same is true for EC and Tramain. That is great. That is what high school basketball is all about. And these three kids are what is right about high school basketball. Ltown, if you have an opinion just put down who you like and leave it at that. Spinks, give it up. Ltown knows everything. I might start a thread on best high school concession stand so he can tell us all how we do not know what we are talking about. It is this way on every thread he gets into. But, back to the topic....this is an incredible year for SE Texas.

I agree with you spinks. I believe the amount of teams and ability acroos the board is amazing. Not just a team or two doing well with great athletes but 7 teams doing great all the way to regionals. Good luck to all.

No, Stoke didn't get in. I think it was due to the physical nature of the game. Coach was worried about Stoke throwin down on a few Broaddus guys who thought we were still in Football. ;D Just having some fun..... ;D

I believe that says alot about your district, #1 & #2 in district in the regionals. Kountze and EC as well as Silsbee and HJ. Some good basketball is being played here in our corner of the state. Good Luck to all schools in regionals.

I'm with you CSI.....I think Big Sandy is good at transition Defense. The only one I would be worried about is your big man McKinney. He looks a little gassed when they run alot. Big Sandy by 14

HJ_hawk.....please do not talk about WH, it's players or coaches in a favorable way because there is a poster named ltown that gets all bent out of shape at the mere thought of our school going to state or it's players or coaches being honored in any way. Just trying to keep the peace my brother. ;D

Good lord ltown.....did someone from West Hardin beat you down sometime in the past? What has you hating anything that is mentioned about a player or coach from WH? Get over yourself and realize that there is quite a bit of talent at lower classifications.

I will say it again, Coach Fuller was the right guy for this group of kids. Is he coach of the year, I don't know. To WH folks, yes. But there are many good coaches out there. Boutte, McCarter, Joubert, Hargraves, Sutherland and more. I will back Coach Fuller for the following reason, look at where WH has been and where we are. Sure, athletes help, but that is one thing all the above coaches have at their disposal this year. I always said Coach Jackson should be in the running every year. While at Deweyville he was always out athleted, but he was always tough to beat. (and fun to watch).

The other thing in the small schools is not too often do you get a Girls Basketball Coach. Rather you get a football coach that fills a need in the girls basketball program. I wanted to add that this is not a knock on the coach who started out the year, he had them headed in the right direction I think. It is just my opinion on small schools, their budgets and athletic priorities.
