I just got my youngest son (12 yr. old) set up with a 7mm 08. It is a really nice shooting gun. I will get back when it is put to use in the stand.

Good article...Brandon is a good kid. Brandon and Zach have worked hard to get where they are. But, I can't wait for basketball.

Baytown Lee and LCM

Darrell Royal had the "Dance with the one that brung ya!" many years ago. He also said "Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad."

The league is only as good as the folks running it. Little Dribblers as a whole is a good organization (in my opinion). That being said, it does not mean every town that has little dribblers is run right. I do not know anything about Little Cypress' league, but Little Dribblers is a good org.

Coop, this is just another example of what is wrong with youth sports. Everyone makes the mistake of thinking it is about the kids. The kids are generally great to deal with, it's the parents that almost always ruin it.

Baytown Lee 1979......Came from 14 points down at halftime to beat #1 in state LaPorte only to lay an egg the next week and get eliminated by Houston Memorial.

The new school is projected 3A right now and is being built on the north side of I-10. Baytown will realign their school lines to move all of the kids around again. Sterling will stay 5A and Lee move to 4A. They have not named the new school yet. This should be good in town though; now a 4A team can hang a big loss on Sterling every year.

Next realignment might catch Baytown Lee moving to 4A depending on when the new high school is up and running. Lee coming that direction might be a possibility. Lee and TJ (now memorial) had a great rivalry going back to the 30's I believe.
