PN-G vs. BH Playoff Predictions?
WhatHappened? replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
PN-G is a very good Offense team. thats all. well with the BH offense they carry the ball the whole game and PN-G doesnt get the ball therefore they dont win. This game is all based on the inexperienced QB BH has that hasnt started a game yet on Varsity. If he can hold on to the snaps and control the game like he is suppose to BH wins by a nail biter. BH-24 PN-G- 21 -
I heard Central played none of there starters against PN-G
They didnt have to. They clenched District and didnt want anyone getting hurt for playoffs. smart move from the coaches. esp. them knowing they had GP next which they will take easily -
If you look at the teams that go deep in the playoffs it seems like they are the ones that didnt get hit by the injury bug. Sure would be a different outcome every year for alot of teams but injurys are part of the game.
\ Definitely true. Rough sport= rough outcome. -

BH needs an injury free game. missing 9 players due to injuries. not very good. That is if they win -
"What Happened", you posted while I was typing. So, your starting QB is out, numerous injuries down the line and you still think you can hold on to win by 7? The Indians with a 6-4 record can be beat. It's happened 4 times this year. The bad news for you guys is our defense is getting exponentially better week by week and even if the D layed down this Friday you'd better be able to put 40 on the board and that's not gonna happen this Friday. The same goes for any team we face in the playoffs. Our offense is the best you've seen all year, no question, and possibly the best you've seen in a decade. So, be prepared to leave Beaumont unhappy at around 10:30pm Friday night!
But thats just it. if BH offense runs like it is suppose to PNG wont be able to get the ball more than 3 minutes of the game which in that case cant score 40. BH offense is their defense in a nutshell. they run the game and if they dont then they get clabured by a better team then them
Think HS Football from 1962 and that's BH.
Which has been working this season for the players. they have grasped it and no one has been able to stop it.
54-0
For the offense to work they actually have to get the bal. BH had three dropped kick off returns that game and DAY got ball on the 20 yard line or less. The score shows no reflection of how the offense works. Good try though ;D ;D
Does BH prefer to pass, run, or is their offense pretty balanced?
Big time run offense. they smash it down until a big run breaks out or just get short yardage and runs the game clock out. Some of that reason was the QB being able to run very well and squirmed his way through; the other reason was he has no arm. The new QB cant run very well but has a strong arm but not very smart decisions.

BH missing QB is a big deal for them. He has led this team to victory. Also the kicker, outside linebacker middle linebacker, a reciever, 2 right tackels(3rd string playing). a lot of injuries but i still think BH D can hold them enough for them to keep the clock and the football to win by 7

Barbers Hill vs. Crosby Game Thread/BH Wins/Comments
WhatHappened? replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
There was a big fight in the Dayton vs King game that ejected 4.. Let us know the outcome of this one, was it Crosby or BH starting it?
Crosby starts the fight; Merka fumbles the ball and BH recovers clearly with three people on it and four standing between ball and Crosby players. Crosby players attack BH from the back after whistle has been blown and play was over. BH players responded with a couple of punches thrown and helmets taken off to swing at Crosby players. 2 BH players ejected. IDK about Crosby players. -

Let Merka run to the edge and Crosby beats BH. Just my opinion. Also, if his receivers would catch the ball, that would be helpful to the cougars.
If an NFL team played for North Forest that would help them too.
Don't know if you've seen the cougars play, but he drills the receivers in the numbers over and over, but they keep dropping the ball. Maybe the receiving core is young or something. And while we are at it: If BH had an offense with elements from a time period after the sixties that would help them too.
I definitely agree with that.

This will be a very tough, hard fought game with BH winning 20-14
I posted this on the Dayton Defense thread, but thought it may help out on this one as well For those that don't like purple cool aid here is some Blue Cool aid for ya;D There has been a little debate over Dayton Vs. BH Defense so I did a little research. Now I'm going to cheat a little bit by omitting the 54-0 beat down but just looking at our opponents since then BH’s D has outshined Dayton’s D Baytown lee – BH held them to 7 points and 108 yards while Dayton held them to 0 points and 40 yards North Forest – BH held them to 0 points and 126 yards while Dayton held them to 0 points and 142 yards C.E King – BH held them to 14 points and 207 yards while Dayton has yet to play them Crosby – BH has yet to play them while Dayton held them to 3 points and 332 yards Galena Park - BH held them to 7 points and 254 yards while Dayton held them to 23 points and 375 yards GCM - BH held them to 0 points and 154 yards while Dayton held them to 7 points and 259 yards So what we have so far is BH has allowed the rest of the district 28 points and 819 yards while Dayton has allowed 33 points and 1,148 yards So we have one more game to go with BH leading by 5 points and 329 yards Put that in your pipe and smoke it ;D
Just as an FYI with BH and their we're great in all sports....just a quick check of this website shows more posts on football than all the other forums combined. BH...good at other sports....no one cares.
No BH wont miss many PAT anymore. their starting kicker is back and he is 80% kicker.
Didnt he hurt his ankle in the Dayton game?
No he hurt his Meniscus at the Dayton game and has been out since last week against GCM. Hurt his ankle the night of GCM i guess.
Must of been on kickoff unless he is the punter to because he didnt see much action in the DAY game ;D
He is the Kicker along with the left tackle.. Crosby got shut down by GCM the first half. We all know that GCM defense isn't very good at all but the only reason they shut down Cougars was cause they contained Merka. BH starting defense hasn't been scored on since Baytown Lee(week 5) and that was after the beating of Dayton. BH defense contains Merka, controls the clock with the offense they carry, and beat Crosby 20-0.
He does kickoffs and long distance field goals. And he plays right tackle. Had a small surgery on the Meniscus earlier this year and hurt his ankle last week. Most likely out this week.
Thank you for the clean up bud!
