The Silsbee noise guard is a beast along with Farr at LB/RB. Silsbee offense played better but with 6 turnovers by LCM, I think we should have had a few more scores. The run game looked a whole lot better. All in all Silsbee is 2-0 and on to Nederland. 2-0 Big Ned vs 2-0 Silsbee should be the KFDM Game of the Week?

Westbrook football the last few years has fallen on hard times. 2023 0-10 2022 1-9 2021 5-6 2020 5-5 They did go 13-3 and should have won state in 2018 and a solid season in 2019 at 9-3.

Silsbee has had 3 Football All Americans in the last 9 years in Hudson, Barnes (track), and Miller.

I would say Silsbee has better athletes than Jasper and West Orange Stark overall.

None of those teams won state in football. I have Silsbee over LCM. Toss up vs Nederland and Silsbee beating Westbrook and Hitchcock. I think the Tigers can roll into district 3-2 at worst. I see them going 3-2 in district as well. 6-4 regular season going 2 rounds deep.

Yes he is. I thought last season with Gaines, Baltrip, Miller, and Bottley that was the best secondary we've had since 2018 with Taylor, White, and Turk.

I think Johnson and Miller can be all district WRs for Silsbee. Johnson is about 6'2 about 190lbs. Jaden Miller made 5'9 or so but can run some solid routes. Id like to see Gaines vs Farr in the back field. Farr can be an Allstate LB and Gaines maybe an Allstae DB. I wonder if we have any RBs on JV who can really play to move up. Hate to see those 2 starting both ways.

New OL didnt play to bad. Lots of things to work on to get a good push to get that running game going. Vidor played hard and should have a solid season.

I think Silsbee will win state this year if their D2. Not sure what's in Houston for 4A but Washington and Wheatley lost alot.

I think Silsbee goes 7-5 this season. Not sure who a 2nd round match up would be coming in 3rd. Maybe 8-4.
