I remember Benard he could jump out the gym. That 2010 Silsbee team should have won state. The size on those kids 6'7, 6'7, 6'3, 6'2, 6,0 starting lineup was incredible for 3A at the time. I seen Silsbee with Stallworth and Lane play Bosha and Prudhomme a few times.

I think at some point the UIL will need to move all of these 4A schools will large player pulls to move to 5A. Any year for Yates, Carter, Lincoln, or even Faith Family to be 4A is a complete joke. The people at those schools should be ashamed your a city of 2.1 million vs towns of 6800 or less. I hope Silsbe can at least get to Regionals but unless Lebron James walks in we have no shot to beat that Yates team. I've seen highlights of the 6'9 lod shoots 3s and they have added 3 more high quality kids from last year. What a freaking joke!! Coach Wise is over there cheating!!!

I dont think there will be a player in Silsbee history who will play more games than Bush. Maybe Jordyn Adam's for games played due to him going to state 3 years in a row mixed with a Region Finals.

Silsbee just got a full team the end of the 3rd week of December. Football shape and basketball shape isn't the same. I think now with a "full team" Silsbee should play a little better.

Young brother of former Tiger QB Sedrick Spearman

Elvin Earl Spearman Silsbee 1992-95. Ended up not playing on the 1994-95 Silsbee basketball team that lost to Lincoln at the Montage Center. If Silsbee had Spearman, they beat Lincoln. Not sure the circumstances why he couldn't play in Silsbee, but he moved to Buna and averaged 25ppg that year. Seen him at Silsbee high school one day and 3 days later he was in Buna. He was about 6'2 or 6'3 and could ball.

Very sad smh. Kids have to value life more. Dallas and some larger cities have always struggled with violence at sporting events. More high school events than college or pro due to the cost and access.
