    What everyone is forgetting is ........ Since the first game of the season once Silsbee gets up by 2 touchdowns you are going to get a dose of run the ball only. So IF we wanted to run up the scores we could have. Silsbee QB could have 5,000 yards if we would have done that so Silsbee #'s are nowhere on paper what they could be if we would have kept our foot on the pedal and no to mention we put in 2nd and 3rd string defensive players to get them next man up ready. I cant tell you how many games that Silsbee QB didnt even throw a pass in the 2nd half of games. So you can look at stats or on paper and throw that out the window. I think it might be whoever has the ball last and it might be a 6-man football score at the end of the game. Silsbee will be ready and the defense has had its back to the goal line several times this year and they would bend but they didnt break and made some stops when they needed to. This should be an instant espn classic but i see my Tigers eating this week !!!

    100% agree. Silsbee didn't even throw the ball in the 2nd half in 4 or 5 games this season. If the game was already decided, Miller and Cartwright sat out the 2nd half. They may have saw one or 2 series. That's it. Moshier could easily be over 4000 yard passing by now ans 40Tds.

  2. If I was a betting man (im do parlays alot), I'd say Bellville will rush for 250 yards as a team and Silsbee will pass for 250 yards as a team. No rain Friday night. Silsbee hasn't played a team that runs this well all year and I can guarantee Bellville hasn't seen a team like Silsbee on offense all year. Silsbee will need to force Bellville into 3rd and long as you knkw what's coming. Tbey don't like to throw the ball but could sneak one in like Sealy. The o/u I would put that 75pts. Silsbee 42 Bellville 40.

    well here ya go here is fact for you.

    2022  -5 rushing 31 receiving 0 tds

    2023   66 rushing 54 receiving 0 tds

    the two years against the DAWGS  that I saw personally combined totals 61 rushing and 84 receiving with 0 tds is at best average stats.

    @Silsbee92

    Will be 3X Allstate 1st team as well. Maybe you didn't see the Cuero game, WOS game, etc....

    @Silsbee92

    According to you he isnt that good. According to college recruits, he's a 5 Star. I think I'll stick with college recruits. I wonder what his basketball stats are vs Jasper 😂😂😂😂

    you make it seem like Jasper the only team to use more than 1 player to defend Miller. Knowing that not correct.

    Again, going by what I personally saw to say Miller is the best player in a game when he walks on the field simply didn't show the past two seasons.

    I saw Patrick Mahomes Jr at Whitehouse and didn't see what I see today. So there goes that theory.

    For me, I have no doubt that Miller is outstanding and is worthy of all the hype that is given.  The amount of DI offers is proof of the young man's skills.  no shade whatsoever am I trying to put out

    That said, the past two seasons when the opportunity to see him in person come along (as a fan of football ya want to see a great player do his thing) (as a Jasper fan just want to win the game)he didn't stand out as the best player on the field  As a matter of fact,  I think Jaspers #4  was.

    Last year, (again going by what I saw) Silsbee #11 impressed me more than #1.

    Best of luck to our District mates.

    Ask Jasper's coach why did he double and triple team him leaving #11 and #7 wide open. He went for close to 1400 yard receiving and 20 TDs each of the last 2 seasons. This season Cartwright has become the other big play WR. I believe both of them have over a 1000 yard receiving this season.

    To Coach Rowe and the Brahmans, I suggest:

    1. Talk about their mamas.

    2. Use that P word that women hate.

    3. Use “boy,” not that other word. Its 2023.

    4. Flop.  Always flop.

    But honestly, i can see this one being a higher-scoring affair with the last possession telling the tale. Silsbee might have problems with the Slot T, but I don’t expect Bellville to stop that a Silsbee O, either.

    Extracurriculars in this one have the potential to be devastating for Silsbee in this matchup. I think the Tigers get it done.

    "Boy"????? The other word would get 15 yard every damn time I heard it.

    You are still learning about the "who played who", "last year", and "they haven't played anybody". Silsbee beat WOS 20-6, BV beat WOS 49-7. What about that? Best player in the game will be playing for Bellville and wearing #99.

    Silsbee is about to arrive at the intersection of hype and reality.

    Are you from Huffman? Didn't Silsbee beat you guys on a 40 piece with sides?
