What was the record for the Adams and McCain? Over 4 years outside of the LCM brawl, I dont think they lost a game. Even that game i think was awarded to Silsbee 2-0.

Outside of when these kids were freshman during COVID-19 and had to miss games, I dont think thry ever lost a district game. I think that year Silsbee lost to Vidor and Lumberton while only playing 2 varsity players. The JV team played those games. Im going to guess but I think their Silsbee district record over the last 4 years is something like 44-2.

This will be Coach Sigler's 5th trip to state if im not mistaken. God bless him. I remember in his early years in Silsbee, we had some solid teams but could never seem to best Lincoln in the playoff besides once with a lost to Santa Fe a few rounds later.

I would agree as well. Saw Stafford play a few games and I said then, they weren't a threat to win state.

Canyon is 34-3 but I have looked thru there schedule and I dont think they've played a team like Silsbee or even near the quality of opponents. They did play Eastern Hills within 3pts 61-58.

They led i think at the half then Silsbee went on like a 15-2 run and never looked back.

The guard from Canyon Randall, KJ Thomas reminds me some of the kid from Brazosport a few years ago. Legitimate scorer!

I did watch Silsbee vs Dallas Lincoln and Silsbee vs Brazosport live on Fox SW. Silsbee vs Carter and FF were on NFHS. I bought the dvds to all those games just to keep.

We are living in the Golden Ages of SETX basketball. I dont know a time in history where you've had Silsbee and Beaumont make it to state so often. I think Ozen and Kountze went together a time or 2. Silsbee and United both made it 2 years ago. San Antonio will be packed with families from the 409.

I like Silsbee to win 85-77 to advance to the Championship Game. These teams do have a common opponent in Hamshire-Fannett. Canyon beat them by 21 and Silsbee by 15 on a terrible shooting night by the Tigers.
