I'm a Silsbee fan but I think beat WOS in football would be a bigger deal. I will say, I dont know over the past 25 years how many local teams in 4A have beat Silsbee besides HJ a few and WOS 2 or 3 times.

Silsbee was a few extra points away from beating Cuero. Would of should of could of. When Silsbee returned that strip fumble I thought we had it. Silsbee did slow down Whittington but time compared to what he had done all season and in the state title game.

Good chance Faith Family will forfit in 2 or 3 years and Yates will get handed a ring lol. Silsbee will wait as well on that Dallas Lincoln one in 2016 lol! DISD aka Cheat ISD!

I think Bush, Adam's, and McCain have been Allstate all years of high school!

Who will be battling it our for QB in Silsbee next year? Will be Foster, Taylor, or I hear a very very good sophomore to be.

Liberty Hill was good. I remember they beat Silsbee in the Whataburger Tourney in Dallas the year we lost to Dallas Lincoln in the state championship game.

Not sure Silsbee goes back to state next year but another district championship sure. The year after that tho who knows. Silsbee has some pretty good post and guards coming thru. I dont k ow of anyone who will be as good as Adam's, McCain, and Bush as a trio. What also made them so good was all the talent around them. You forget about the Bruce Newton, Trajon Harris, Calvin Tyler, Michael McCain, Kaylon Barnes, Landon Tyler, Willie Jones jr, and Tre Lowe. Each on of those kids could have started for almost anyone e in the state and made all district 1st team.

There is a time in the future where Silsbee could be 3A I heard.

When I seen the name pop up in the TABC rankings, I knew something was fishy. I thought Deion Sanders had a new school like Prime Prep. I didnt know they would be a le to play in the UIL. Everyone remembers a few years ago when Mark Cuban hand selected an AAU team to play at Bridgeport. 4A is a middle ground I guess. A charter school of 200 has no reason playing in a 4A UIL tourney. They are like a junior college with all the recruiting. I actually hope Yates win to keep the title in Region 3 and shut down the nonsense in Dallas. Yates should combine with Kashmere and go to 5A.

Larger school? Why? Silsbee has played in alln6A Toruneys and gets just as much exposure as others.

I don't think Silsbee will be in the Woodville Tour ey either. I could see Dallas Whataburger Classic, maybe Bulldog Classic, and maybe Gamble Classic. Who knows. I expect them to win district and go back to state myself! Never know what can happen between today and November 2019. Move ins etc.......
