Silsbee has played Sealy a few times in the playoffs over the last 8 years or so. This group of seniors lost as sophomores to Sealy a few years back. Sealy had a decent QB that year. 

The top 4 of WOS district is MUCH stronger then the top 4 of Bellville district. I think Jasper could win the district and so would HF.

Yes

Bellville looks to be pretty dang good but their district is very very weak overall. Thry were doing the same thing as year and got beat by Madisonville pretty good. Bellville has three 1000 yard rushers. Stop the run, you beat them.

Used to be unheard of for Silsbee to have slow, unathletic QBs that just sit back in the pocket. Be nice to have that threat again for opposing defenses to worry about.

If I'm Silsbee, he has to be on the field. He has a big arm and can run. I followed him on JV. He is a Varsity QB all day. Our QB struggled tonight.

Yeah mayne Jay was a bad boy. When I was a corporate sales manager for Enterprise Rent A Car around 2006, I worked with a few guys who played with Jay at U of H. They had alot of good stories from the old SWC days.

I don't specifically remember the year or score, but I know Silsbee won the first game I attended against Jasper. The game ended in a tie, but Silsbee got the win for some reason. I know it was a very low scoring game. Randy Matthews was QB that year.

Games over off 7th street were crazy. Even if you didn't go and lived on 2nd street or something, you could hear nearly everything if you opened your door, and sometimes you didn't need to do that. Bet a lot of the people who lived even closer were glad when the games moved.

Old stadium was in the middle of a neighborhood was pretty cool of you think about it.

We lived on 3rd st and I could sit in the yard and here the PA Announcer Mr Billberry I think it was.

We lost 2 games that season. The first a preseason loss to Silsbee was 27-17. Then we got Silsbee at TJ Stadium in round 1 of the playoffs. It didn't go so well for PN-G with a 42-17 loss. That Silsbee team was stout. They had a RB we could not ever get our hands on.
