Hj will never win district in football. A coach cant change lack of talent. Sorry folks. Maybe being in shape helos u win 3 or 4 games but talent plays alot into it as well. Hj has some great athletes on the court that wont play on the field.

21-3a is only wide open in spots 3 and 4. It never matter who wims district for silsbee and wos. It seems for the past 5 yrs silsbee only Plays Huffman. Wos d2 so they never have a chance to meet up later in the playoffs. Im not a fan of all the d1 and d2 splits.

Does PNG have the same kid who played vs Silsbee last year back at QB? He wasnt to bad. Needed a little bit of practice but he seemed ok to me. He was big and could throw a good deep ball.

Also Silsbee girls basketball programhas had 10x more success than HJ football. 3 trips to state and COUNTLESS playoff appereances. At least 10 allstate players over the last 15 years. HJ football, not so much. No it shouldn't be canceled because they have struggled in the past 5 years.

Dear "GoodSanta" stop crying. I really hope the kids at HJ have a great season. Im here just to poke fun. Truth is HJ wont win more thta 3 or 4 games. The program is in rebuilding mode and 21-3A is top heavy with Silsbee and WOS. If they beat Buna, OF, and HF, they will earn a playoff spot. Doesnt 4 teams go in now? They could win all 3 or 4 in district and be a playoff team. Good luck on that goal. Beating Silsbee or WOS shouldn't be a goal. Craw before you walk bro!!

Things that have a better chance of happening before HJ beats Silsbee in Football 1. Gas goes back under $1 a gallon 2. Cowboys win a Super Bowl 3. It rains $20 bills 4. Drinking & Driving is permitted 5. HJ stadium gets a upgrade 6. Stevenash goes to more than 1 football game and skips basketball season all together 7. Aggierwe stops gong to Whataburger 8. Silsbee doesnt make playoffs in.....basketball, football, and baseball in same season 9. Todd Sutherland dresses like Joh Travolta on "Saturday Night Fever" while coaching a game 10. I expect Silsbee to be a force this season. Reed is about 6"3 1/2 now. Added with the 10lbs, he will be breaking some tackles and hopefully leading Silsbee to a deep playoff run. As long he and his team are out there having fun, they will be fine. Take it game by game.

That kid from Silsbee is BIG!!!! Sillsbee shold run to hisside EVERY TIME! No one will stop him as long as he stays in good shap and keeps perfecting his skills.

I miss those old games at Kirby Memorial Stadium and The Alamo! Last game I ever went too in Jasper was when they hurt Jay McGuire by running him into that little 2 foot visitors sideline.
