1. Done! I'll ge happy to take your cash! You make Sleepy out to be better than El Tigre! I do have a close friend who has played on the PGA tour before.
D You spoke about one small group of people who graduated from HJ who did well. Yates is far more superior in sports and graduates. Sour Lake is about 50 people over the limit of being considered a ghost town dude!m
Cheap talk that sounds good to you that you cannot verify.  No different than all the golf BS you used to throw out.  Funny that never comes up any more.  I wonder why?  I am going to investigate the drop out rate of both schools and will get back to you.  The difference is that when I provide you with the numbers they will be accurate and verifiable.
Stevenash your son is very good at golf and it seems like he has a chance to make some money playing professionally. You on the other hand wouldn't stand a chance playing me. I shot a less than stellar 78 in HorseShoe Bay last weekend. If you would like to play a pair with your son, I'd be happy to pay. You have the number and I'd be happy to pick a neutral spot. Red Stone could be a nice place. I have a few close friends that would love to challenge your son as well. Put your money where your pie hole is and make the call to me and stop beating around the bush!

4. SteveNash a true Republican! Let's see Nash's birth certificate. I bet Nash isn't even from Sour Lake!
5. Not so sure about that! Not every Tiger scholarship goes to football or basketball.
6. Silsbee gets more athletic scholarships than HJ get academic sholarships!
7. I would beg to differ SteveNash. Silsbee has had quit a few kid get degrees from Lamar, Texas, PVAMU, TSU, Texas Tech, Oklahoma St., Sam Houston, SFA, and several other small schools. I can guarantee we have twice as many graduate from college as HJ. I'm willing to money where my mouth is on this. HJ graduates 95 to 100 students per year. Silsbee graduates 175-225. Not saying HJ students don't get degrees, but I will say a higher percentage of Tigers get degrees than Hawks!
8. The point is they have more big names who have made moves than HJ! Who went to HJ? ALF?
9. Silsbee can beat Yates only of they can creat turnovers and score. Yates entire system is design to score off your mistakes at a fast pace. We will see! I'd love for Silsbee to shock the entire state with a win vs Yates. It will be biggest challenge they have ever faced as a school in sports.
10.
And actually Yates has a Whose Who list of alumni, even if you take out the sports.
Yes they do. 2 of the largest are Phylica Rashad (Clair Huxtable the Cosby Show)  and her sister Debbie Allen ( professional dance teacher to the stars and show Fame)!
11. I'm willing to bet there are more Tigers with college degrees than Hawks. Let's make this conversation closer to home.
12. Nash if you got time to call the hospital looking for a doctor, either your job is too laid back or you need something better to do. The names are Stacey Samuels, Adam Bell, and Grace Phillips. So do you think HJ has more successful graduates than say.....Silsbee?
13. So would a HJ Alumni wouldn't be able to compete for one of the records?
14. Yes he is dude! The funny this is all major insurance companies have a Regional Headquarters in either Dallas, Austin, or Houston.
15. SteveNash, you might wanna dig a bit deeper. 3 out of the 4 major Insurance companies in Texas are headed by Yates graduates. Vincent and Elkins Law Firm has 2 Yates graduated and yes there are countless nurses in Herman and Memorial who have Yates degrees. I actually know a surgeon named Blake Powell who is a seogon at Herman Memorial 610. With all the Ytes bashing, they have some very very distinguish alumni. HJ couldn't been compare. Maybe the current issues with there schooling has been down, but over the last 30 years, they have some very very successful alumni. Most have nothing to do with sports.
16. Sports Yates would own your school in besides basketball. Here is a list and their Alumni who achieved it. 1. Dominos- Raymond Harper ( won 487 straight games from 83-87) 2. Craps- Nathan Goolsby ( rolled 236 times beofe rolling a 7 circa 1991)  3. Cursing- Alice Davis  ( used 27 curse words in one sentence before using a verb) record still stands. 4. Rock Paper Scissors- Allen Phillilps ( won 33 times in a row) 5. Rock skipping- Rosevelt Potter ( skipped a rock 18 times in Lake Conroe) 6. Skipping class- entire 1995 class ( started the year with 453, and 123 graduated)
17. I would go as far as to say that Yates has more accomplished Alumni than HJ! I bet Yates would own HJ in all sports! Maybe not golf, go cart racing, or watermelon seed spitting but the sports that count.
18. I really hope they make a run to state! That would be awesome! Great community and people out in Nederland area.
19. I do know quiet a few successful Yates garaduates that would beg to differ. My sister in law went to Yates and is the head home claims for Farmers in the state of Texas. Maybe she is the only one. IDK
20.

I'd be willing to bet HJ does have more kids who could plant okra, cut firewood, shuck peas,  and milk cows than Yates?
YOu are probably right.  At the same time, I will also wager that a lot more of them are gainfully employed/productive citizens as well.  Good thing about those hick HJ kids is that they are taught how to work for income rather than apply for it.
I was waiting out you buddy! Yates kids apply for government assistance is what your saying SteveNash? So you are basically saying they graduate just to apply for a Lone Strar shopping card? WoW!
21. I think either Central or Nederland has the absolute best shot in the area. No more Houston schools for them to deal with.
22. I think Sioabee could have some very good wideouts this year.
23. Nederland might go undefeated in the regular season!
24. I'd be willing to bet HJ does have more kids who could plant okra, cut firewood, shuck peas,  and milk cows than Yates?
