Aggiesarewee, what was the kids name for Silsbee back in 07 who wore number 14. He had a few big put back dunks in the playoffs. I think his nickname was "Bull" or something like that.

I remember Norris McGee dunked like 4 times in a game in junior high vs Silsbee. I think he had like a 42 inch vertical leap!

SteveNash, I'd be willing to be my change, your money, and everyone's money on this board that HJ wouldn't play with in 30 of Yates this year. They have 5 Shawn Prudhomme, 3 DC Stallworths, and 4 Kristen Smiths. Yates is young as well. Next it is a FACT they will WALK thru 3A ball. Silsbee, HJ, Sealy, and Waco La Vega better make  the best of this season. Next years Yates will resemble their team from the back to back years. I'm not riding their jocks, but HJ plays too slow and Silsbee is way too small. Manvel is ranked 2nd and they won't play with in 18 of them. I'm not saying no one should be scared of them, but when your high school team is full of AAU players what do you expect. Their bench would win compete for state in 3A this year.

Wow SteveNash! I would put my money on Smith all day! He is a better player than Prudhomme. Who would you pick to start your team with. I think Smith takes those shots because he didn't trust his teammates. I think that has changed.

Smith is better than any player on HJ's team!

I'd rather them shoot less 3 pointers and drive that ball. Cut it down to 12 or less.

If Silsbee would have played in the Woodville and Big Sandy tourney just to inflat their record they could be 26-3. I'd rather have that 20-7 myself.

For Central what about Franklin Paul and Daryl Gosby?

You better not forget about Navasota, Sealy, ColdSprings, Brookshire Royal, or Mexia. No one saw Silsbee losing to Sealy last year. Ricky Seals-Jones is a monster. If they match up with Silsbee again this year, I don't see the Tigers beating them. It's all about match ups folks. HJ matches up well with all those teams because they have speed and size.

Why did he move? Didn't he start last year at Central?
