Silsbee should have been 3A for the last 20yrs and not 4A! If they got to 2A I would expect for most kids and parents to move further into Beaumont. Population would really suffer. The economy in Silsbee is down at its worst and I dont see change coming soon.

They will win state in 2011! They are loaded! Watchout for the under dawgs in Silsbee.

I agree with you buddy. HJ may go to state next year. Those two studs they have coming back will be hard to handle. Silsbee will play small ball next year and may have a hard time against bigger teams.

IF HF has all this 8th and 9th grade talent, will it transfer to the varsity?

Look Stevenash, Sour Lake has a population of 500 vs Silsbee with a population of 6300. Of course there will be more crime. What is Sour Lake know for? Deer Hunting? Come on man don't go there. I know more about that little town than you think I would know.

Jettyman, tell your son its not worth his time. Move him to Silsbee or WOS where he can at least have a shot at the playoffs or a winning season. That's great you have all of your teeth. Options: Gear up on Friday nights and prepare to lose 68-0? Move to Silsbee, gear up to play a game where it could go either way. Play a game or 3 in the playoffs. Play 10 games finish 1-9 and get ready for college. You tell me?

Doesn't Silsbee have like 12 Power Lifting State Titles? Seriously that counts doesn't it? Also they have won a few boys/girls state track&field titles. Boys basketball have been to state 5 times and girls 4 times. Still not bad.

If that's all that you ca pick out of that is my spelling then I guess I'm right for a change.

What will be HJ's record in football this year? 1-9? 2-8? Better play some 2A and sixman teams to prepare for a butt whipping in district. Again, cancel that program. We may not have a state crown in basketball or football but at least we dont go out each week knowing that we just going to get a good workout. It would be wise for HJ to just pull the bulbs out of the visters side of the score board and just keep score by calculator! Just saying buddy! When your team gets the score board busted on them every week, it tends to concern us.
