The best coaching staffs in the area always make a strong playoff run. West Orange, Kirbyville, Jasper, PNG, West Brook, and Central all have years where they got 3-4 rounds deep. I would love to see teams like Silsbee, Ozen, and LCM make stronger playoff runs. I have watched each and everyone of these play over the past 4 years and I can tell you the coaching staffs make just as much as a difference as the players. What if a WOS staff could take over a LCM team. Would that make a difference?

Who are some standout or possible D1 players?

Jeremy Johnson will be named the starting QB for Lamar. There is a reason they recruited him from West Virgina. Playing in the SLC will help him vs playing at WV.

If Silsbee goes to 2A watchout for HJ going to 1A

Silsbee should have been 3A for the last 20yrs and not 4A! If they got to 2A I would expect for most kids and parents to move further into Beaumont. Population would really suffer. The economy in Silsbee is down at its worst and I dont see change coming soon.
