FYI, I may be one of the largest crap talkers in Silsbee history but I always respect other fans and schools. At the end of the day it is just a game. As long as everyone plays hard and no injuries I'm good. I hope this is Silsbee;s year to win state.

Silsbee has more NFL, Olympics, All Americans, Allstate, NBA, MLB players than HJ. No we don't have titles in basketball$ Silsbee use to be a large 4A school when I was there from 94-98. We had close to 1300 students at one point. My class graduated 305 students. HJ has had it share of great players too. Silsbee has been the larger community and that's why. Tigers by 12 Friday and I will be in the house!

HF has talent in basketball? When did all this happen? Can someone confirm this?

I'd have to go with the kids from Silsbee and Sour Lake. Gaines plays up tempo, has good vision, and can shoot the ball well. The kid from HJ loves to drive down the lane and create. Both are good point guards to me.
