When you tell me, back in 1998 we did this. That was freaking 13 yrs ago guys. Anything in the last 10 yrs or so to hang that hat on?

My story......Well ask me in person at the game in Navasota. Its very interesting to say the least. I have worked for a Fortune 5 (yes 5 not 500) as a Regional Sales Mgr for the past 9 years since graduating college at Texas A&M. I can travel when I want and where I want for the most part. I love SETX sports and I'm a native of Silsbee. I graduated from Silsbee back in 1998. Im a good friend of coach Brooks and Travis. I honesty love all of SETX sports. I just enjoy poking fun at you guys because you keep coming back at me. If Silsbee were get knocked out the playoffs, I'd be 100% behind HJ just like a Tiger fan.

HJ can do us all a favor and pull a Lamar and leave football alone for a while. Silsbee has a better chance at a state title each year than you do. Most of the HJ football coaches coach just for the extra check. I hope they dont think about getting promoted out of HJ to a better job. Once your in HJ coaching football its almost over dude. From the in house to the out house!

Lazeek, funny thing is that I didnt even play sports! lol Yes Aggie I may sound foolish but you even get a kick out of this because you are reading it. Neither did 80% of your sports personalities. I know sports well enough that HJ should abandon the program. LEAVE FOOTBALL ALONE! You going to ruin it for the ones who know how to play it.  :(

Yes we dominate the playoff scene. HJ dominates the television screen during playoff time!

No I'm still here! HJ's program is below average. For the past 31 years of my life I have seen you get the doors blown off each and every year. I say now its time to take a stand HJ fans and say cancel your program. Move the kids that want to play football down the street to Beaumont. Santa will take on the entire community of 4 from HJ on this topic! You guys crack me up. Your program is like watching peewee leauge football year after year.

Silsbee has been to playoffs all but once in 21-3A. How about HJ?

Not our fault Sour Lake is so small. You were placed in the district just like us. Did termits eat up the old gym? That gym was older than earth!

Ok 2 wins in.....13 years. I'd like to apologize to BMRM. When your ready to watch a real football team, go watch WOS, Silsbee, or Central. No one should have to watch your team. I try to get the local news stations to come out to your games but they refuse unless your playing WOS or Silsbee. Its like your freshman and varsity teams are all one.

Lazeek, Silsbee has none in football or basketball. Yes HJ beat Silsbee in 97 in football. Have they done it again? Yes they have 3 state championships in the history of the school. Silsbee has more overall state titles if we start counting Power Lifting, track, baseball vs their golf swimming, tennis, and 3 basketball titles. Silsbee is a superior school and it shows. Look at that old stadium and old gym. If HJ could they would have upgraded the school years ago.

Compared to HJ football, Silsbee is a dynasty! HJ does have the edge in basketball overall. Maybe not this year or last but you to have state crowns.

BMRM you and I both know HJ should at least vote on canceling football. Your team gets whipped every year! Most of your basketball team plays footbal right?

Watching HJ football is like watching the Bad News Bears play baseball.

Bmrm I guess your a loyal HJ supporter right? So do you go to the games for the nachos or because there isn't anything else to do in Sour Lake. Can't be to enjoy football. At least not expecting HJ to win.

I feel sorry for HJ football fans. Never a chance for a playoff birth. Yea HJ did beat Silsbee in 97 when the entire Senior class quit the team. Congrats. 1 win in 14 yrs is enough to hang your hat on. We both have no titles but at least we get to the plaoffs for a chance each year. What can you say?

Let's see 98-02 4A playoof teams and 03,05-10 playoff teams. I remember when HJ moved up to 4A and Silsbee beat you 63-7. We gave you 7 in the 4th quarter. You guys suck in football. Why not just invest in a XBOX Kinetic for the school and play football like that. Much easier for you to win.

98 was 13 yrs ago! Tell me one thing HJ has done in football since then. We all can go back 30yrs and find somethig great our school did. What about recently? Anything? You go to the playoffs once a decade. Congrats! Now cancel that weak program.

Don't tell me HJ won state in 1965 when there were 16 schools in the state in 2A. What has HJ done in the last 15yrs? NOTHING!
