Jasper will be the best team Silsbee has faced. I dont know if Silsbee is the best Jasper has faced as they have played Franklin which is a 3A Power and #1. Jasper hasn't seen a team as athletic on offense as Silsbee i dont think or a player as talented as Miller. Silsbee is no one man show.

lol, running the score up on the bridge city, HJ and Liberty's of the world isn't that impressive.
Silsbee starters played 3 series vs Bridge City. They played only the 1st half vs HJ, and maybe 2 series vs Liberty.

I see the time was moved up to 630pm on Friday. Is this still correct?

The rain was so thick I couldn't see... but I know they did multiple times.
That game was as nasty as I have ever seen a game played. I stayed home and the Regional Finals vs WOS was about 45 min off Hwy 99 from me. I think we got 5 inches of rain on my side of town.

I can see this game is gonna be interesting. Both mentally & physically.
Only thing I know for sure is that, if both teams are lucky, it will be raining when this game starts and will be played in the rain until finished.
If there is no lightning.
Either a complete game in the rain or a re-start Saturday sometime.
Coach SSmith has proven he wwill call any play in almost any situation when the heavens open up.
Fact.
I've seen Silsbee throw it deep in the rain many times!!

May need to be Thursday or Saturday for sure. 100% chance it rains.

Okay went and watched the BH game footage. It was nice to see this wasn't just the Harris show. Think Silsbee won by 8 - 10 points. Not bad for half the team missing.
Who is #14 for Silsbee?

If I'm Silsbee I get some misdirection going with all that speed with Baltrip and Jackson. Silsbee had a ton of play makers to go along with Miller and Brisbane who get most of the attention. I need Silsbee to sure up the tackling Friday. It will be raining. Wrap up fellas!!!

I think the lite group of Tigers this year might be stronger than the group that finished the year last year. From what I am hearing they should fare pretty well in the preseason games. The lite group probably will open with at least five pretty good players and I would not be surprised if three of them develop into starters. At any rate the Tigers figure to have at least ten pretty good players by district time and I would not be surprised if the rotation system returns. However it is hard to take players like Harris and Miller off of the floor.
Harris
Miller
Harper
Williams
Cartwright

Go to Kjas website and go to live broadcast they keep up with how many viewers are on the broadcast throughput the game so I know they are broadcasting the game now it also depends on how many people are tuning in and hopefully it doesn’t
If Silsbee can get the run game going with Martin and Kibbles, look out.

No Texan Live broadcast.
How do they determine what games to broadcast? IMO the HF and Jasper games would be a better game to show over BC and Hardin Jefferson right?
-
Silsbee has won 4 straight vs Jasper? I know 2 years ago, that game was ended due to lightning and didn't count. Jasper was up like 21-14 I think.
-
I'll predict
Silsbee 38
Jasper 31

Gonna be a good one. DCTF has the Tigers as a 9-point favorite, but it doesn't matter in this rivalry. We've all seen that anything can happen.
Jasper put up 28 in the first quarter tonight before Coach Crumedy put backups in during the 2nd quarter to get them some good experience. Had to avoid injuries to get ready for next week.
I can't wait!
Silsbee did the same vs Bridge City with 4 min left. Starters pulled after that. It will be a great game.

Any updates?

Silsbee's defense at times is my biggest concern. The secondary has given up alot of big plays but they also have made big plays. I believe Silsbee is 8-10pts better than Jasper. Jasper struggled with HF as well in Jasper. Silsbee may have to add Miller to the secondary more the further they advance in the playoffs. IMO, the most dangerous WR group for Silsbee is Miller, Cartwright, and Elder #7. All those kids seem to be tall and very athletic with Miller. Keep Baltrip or Jackson on the field in the slot. Silsbee running backs need to start with Martin and end with Kibbles. I'd use Brown in the passing game as he has solid hands.
The secondary can still get better but we have to stop peeping so much in the backfield. I saw that alot vs HF, WOS, and Nederland.
My prediction is Silsbee going 4-5 rounds deep. Im hoping for a game here in Katy or Cypress area. I have seen Cuero as well. I think Silsbee is a bit better.

Goodness gracious! An old fashioned woodshed beat down!
It could have been much worst.

Is Carthage Region 3 or 2 now? I know Cuero and Wimberley are Region 3 now.

Silsbee vs Jasper will be a heck of a game come next weekend. I could see this being Channel 12 Game of the Week.

Man the score could have been 100 plus to nothing. BC looked checked out after theb1dt qtr. #26 at QB is a load. Line them up in the Wing-T and run it.

70-0 Silsbee wins
