[/quote] I disagree. The clock was your friend. With only 1:25 left (I think around that), who cares if they get a first. I've never seen a D line up like that at almost midfield. There was one corner on WR and the rest were inside the tackles. When your playing a team like Dayton with speed, I'm giving you the middle and holding the outside on that play. The QB did run to the line, but then bounced outside and there was nobody with 15 yards of him. I think it was a bad defensive call, but heck I'm only a fan. Was an incredibly good ballgame; especially the D's.  BH's D did an awesome game containing the speed attack of Dayton.  Losing Denny certainly didn't help the Eagles and certainly didn't hurt the Broncos.  But like another poster said; Gigout did a great job coming in and filling in in such an important game.  Chambers for Dayton has a gun; but BH's D kept him in a panic in the backfield.  I did like watching him move, smooth as "butta".  McBride fortunately, was not an issue at all.  All in all, really good game and #6 did what they had to do when they had to do it!  Let's Go BH, regroup and take it to SC!!

Bronco, call it what you want....Gage is getting his subs valuable playing time and treating it seriously.  Your Buddy Stewart did the same thing and any coaching staff who feel that have a chance to make a playoff birth will train and train and that's what he's doing.  Sorry you understand it and sorry you feel it unclassy.

Not trying to highjack this tread, my pick is at the bottom; but here is some interesting information about years in 4A, playoff appearances, and first win in this classification since 1980 when the UIL eliminated Class B and moved everybody up 1-A division. I'm not saying BH will make the playoffs this year, yet alone, win their first playoff game in 4A although we can always hope, right?  But after doing a little snooping around on DCTHF's website, here is a little 4A playoff history with regards Dayton, Crosby, and BH - mind you, only for comparison sakes. 1980 and Beyond [b]Years is 4A Crosby 32 (consecutive) Dayton 32 (consecutive) BH 6 (consecutive) [b]Playoff Appearances:[/b] Crosby 12 Dayton 17 BH 6 [b]First 4A playoff Appearance:[/b] Crosby 4th year Dayton 5th year BH 1st year [color=red][b]First Playoff Win:[/b][/color] Crosby 1999 - 20 years in 4A Dayton 1998 - 19 years in 4A BH ????? - well...who knows; but we at least have another 13 years just to reach Dayton's effort and of course, this based on somebody else's information....But really interesting nonetheless!!!
