18-4A All District Teams
Bears Basketball replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
6 was the number we were going for but our district rules say ties remain ties and there was a tie on both the first and second team so a few extra kids got added. It can definitely get watered down though, I agree -

Just FYI, from Vidor perspective, nothing happened at the end of this game to be disrespectful or anything like that. We played til the buzzer and pressed til the end to try to stay alive in the game. Someone messed up a responsibility and he got a breakaway dunk/layup. I couldn't care less if he scored it or dribbled it back up top and ran the clock out. Part of the game. -
We didn't beat Ozen with Perkins. The next year, we beat them 3 times. We did lose a 2 or 4 point game on the road at Ozen with Perkins where we hit either 17 or 19 3's.

Nothing like when someone tries to compliment a team and their coaching staff and someone then has to trash the other team who has a coaching staff and I’m sure players as well that are working their butts off to compete. But hey, at least the softball and baseball teams apparently have the talent to “when it all”. Congrats Coach Barstow and the mustangs and keep your head up Coach Jeffcoat and players. You guys have come a long way this year and have had some great seasons the last few years
