Fact is HJ is worse without Ashlyn and BH is much better with Carter. Would have be interesting had Carter been there two seasons ago. BH was not as strong last year, not arguing that, as they were the year before but this year they will be much better. Carter will provide offense and in turn open up scoring opportunity for everyone on the team. -

Nah i dont think so. BH played HJV pretty tough just two years ago without Carter. It was within 10 going to the 4th if I recall. -

Does that include Barbers Hill? Dalanna Carter is back! -
I am picking a close game but BH pulls it out.

Too much credit for the 6'4 Wrs who run 4.5s? Good lord can you not be objective at all.
-
Do you mean state rankings? [Hidden Content] BH is 5A #5 Hardin is 3A #5
-
I suspect Hardin will not be as good as they were last year but still solid.
-
Nederland barely beat BC in 5 last year so BC won two sets in a real game just last year. I dont think you replace a Sr District MVP with a freshman no matter how good the freshman is. Maybe they will prove me wrong but thats my feeling. Nederland also lost their best player from last year as well.
-
Pretty good list I think. I agree with your top 4. I am curious how Sterling will perform this year and Nederland has some talent coming back. Article on them from last week [Hidden Content]

Sounds like Crosby picked up some help. Does this make them the favorite? What is your projected order of finish?
-
I know they have one club player, the districts supers daughter I believe. Losing the Harley girl though has to hurt.
-
What positions do these new girls play?
-
Glad to see some chatter. Hardin - Bridge City -Huffman, who do you have out of these 3? I know Hardin lost quite a bit and BC lost the district mvp. Not sure about Huffman, but I thought they were young and have a new coach. Speaking of BH, how does everyone see that district playing out? BH, Nederland, PNG, Baytown schools, Crosby, PAM

I would be onboard with your comment if westerburg was still there, but what exactly about the new staff do you not like? -

Not it wouldnt especially for all the school has done for him off the field which goes unsaid and unappreciated. -
Looks dead in here and the season is coming up quickly. Anyone got a feel for what they have yet? Looking forward to the new districts.

Crosby definitely put out feelers as has his 7on7 team members who I believe go to Dickinson. I agree though, if he tried to go in district he would be sitting out a year for sure. -

BH vs GCM Tuesday Feb 22 7pm @ BH Fieldhouse Nice to see the BH boys coach risk the coin flip for the chance to host a home game! -

lol its a better arena end of story. Dont have to fill it to have a great environment. Oh I know coaches agree, I get it from the Sterling side...they are playing in their own GCCISD Arena, it may not be their home court but they will certainly get the home treatment vs a truly neutral site. Depth perception? come on, both teams have the same looks. -

What’s more neutral for BH and Sterling, playing at another Gccisd school like GCM where Sterling plays every year or playing at Lee college ? Neither are affiliated or have even played there in years….Hmmmm Not to mention Lee seats a bigger crowd more comfortably. i guess it’s better than last year when BH drove all the way to Manvel to play Laporte lol. That made zero sense. -

I was wondering when someone would wise up and book Lee College instead of continuing to play in high school gyms. Gold Star for Crosby.
