District ends Tuesday. it would be at minimum 8 days before playoffs could start and that's if they started on Wednesday, which they probably will not. So could be between 8 to 11 days before a playoff game.

So what do the district standings look like at this point? and how many games remain?  Is it on the site somewhere?

Dang it.  We should have been out of that inning with no runs scored. 

After looking at last years thread it looks like there were 16 home runs hit on Monday/Tuesday opening night games.  So far tonight it looks like after first day of those two we have one reported so far.

I sure felt like Vidor deserved to win all night.  Came within one play of beating Nederland with less talent in my opinion.  Seems like the Vidor Coach does "more, with less"  each year than some of these other schools.  Didn't they beat Nederland last year? Nederland changed my feeling on who deserved to win with that last game winning drive.  Congrats to both teams.  Sorry to see that Vidor had to lose that one.

We won a four district games.  (a far cry from the state championship talk straight from the coach)  talk is cheap (i also read a quote in the paper proclaiming "WOS Baseball Is Back") Back in the day we would win four games in a weekend against much better teams.  And although our coaches were tough, they were not verbally abusive to our youth and steered clear of preseason boasting. Coach T will make sure it "IS BACK"  But not with words, he is a man of action.

We sure have had a slow start after the fact we have a lot of kids back.  We need to put it together after not scoring much in first two.
