  1. yes it's true, Humble's offense is a little on the soft side, but their defense is stellar! With a defense like theirs, you can get away with having a soft offense. PAM's offense is hit-and-miss at best. Hopefully the Titan's will rise to the occasion and join the Bruins in representing SE Texas 5A in the playoffs. Good Luck Titans!
  2. so what exactly do you do for our military...........computerized psychological warfare :D LOL no seriously scooter, this board would lack alot of personality if you weren't a member! Congrats on the milestone!
  3. well, I wasn't sure what to think about the game when we started.....but as the game went on I noticed the reason for our slow start and not putting more points on the board.......Stump was resting alot of our starters. Christine Michael did not play in the second half, and Jeremy Cooper got some touches in the game....which I think was a good thing. He is finally getting acustomed to the speed of varsity competition and scored his first TD. Jordan Garret also was used at the RB position and did a great job in scoring on a 45 yard run. I definitely have to agree with you, Weed....that old fart ref made me want to punch him in the mouth by not calling the personal foul that was inflicted on Powdrill, then came over to our benches and chewed on our coaches after they yelled because a flag was not thrown. It showed alot of class on Stump's part to not let it get to him. I think we'll be OK in the playoffs though. I still dont think Stump has shown us what this offense is capable of.....I believe we will see more points on the board in the playoffs.....and KUDOS to the WB defense! Our defense is definitely playing up to par. They did a great job of containing CV's RB(#5).....that kid's good! I think it's all gonna come together starting next week, and we'll see what WB can really do. Hopefully we'll make a DEEP playoff run. Here's something to think about.....only 4 times in WB history have the Bruins won 11 games in a season....1982 (11-4-1) State Champions, 1983 (11-1), 1994 (11-2), and 1997 (11-3). Wouldn't it be neat if we were able to win 12 games this year.....If we were to see Katy in the Quarterfinals, we would be 12-1 when we got there. Weed, I'd be honored to lead the charge into the playoffs next week......so jump on the Bruin-Train everybody, cause we're poised for a long playoff run. South Houston, you're first on the list............ALL ABOARD!
  4. they must be a second half team!
  5. they still have no defense! they wont get far in the playoffs without a solid defense!
  6. 28-28 score tying TD by Allen....8:28 left in the first half!
  7. Plano East is 6-3.......either they're better than their record indicates, or Allen is having an off-night!
  8. my prediction.........hmmmmm......42-10 WB!
  9. the only reason Allen is 9-0 is because they're outscoring their opponents......they have NO defense! Is that just a real weak district they're in?
  10. almost???? ??? I dont, i want to beat the pants off of thost bozos! ooooh, I almost sounded like Michael Jackson! ;D
  11. GREAT picture bear!
  12. you know, I thought I was the only one that felt that way. They should have played the Beaumont Bowl earlier in the season, and I think that hurt us in the playoffs. I have always wondered what might have happened if we had played those games in week 7 or 8 instead of week 10. The '92 and '91 football season WB was 10-0, both years and we lost in the first round. I wonder if we might have made some noise if those playoff games hadn't come right after the "high" of the BB. It's hard to get those kids mentally prepared for the playoffs. There should have been a week in between. I'll get off my soap box, now........ ;D
  13. might be a good opportunity for Jeremy Cooper (#26) to get some much needed playing time......we could use another strong threat at RB!
  14. All this talk about South Houston is great, but we still have to play a fiesty Channelview team on Friday. Let's just hope that we dont lose any players to injury before the playoffs start. Yes, Falgout has been putting some hard hits on some guys lately!
  15. Christine should be playing......it was only a minor injury of a bruised knee. As far as I know he's playing!
  16. nah....we'll just push our way over and invade the home side! ;D
  17. the date on the picture is 6-17-2005....I'd say prolly not!
  18. I know that they've only beat teams with losing records, as another poster said. They lost to Clear Lake(6-3) 38-13, Pasadena Memorial(7-2) 27-0, and Deer Park(7-2) 42-14. All their other wins came against teams that couldn't beat their way out of a paper bag. Their offense is averaging 25.2 PPG, and their defense is averaging 21.0 PAPG. They have to play North Shore (9-0) this Friday night, so they'll probably lose to them. If WB shows up and plays Bruin football, we should be OK!
  19. 3A fans are about all you can fit in that matchbox of a stadium!
  20. > "what you talkin about, Willis?"........ ha ha!
  21. .....it almost makes you feel sorry for them, doesn't it!
  22. just to add to your post......WB's Durley stadium will hold 10000 at capacity. Check out pay-per view's stadium. They need to be 4A [Hidden Content]
  23. I'll have my Blue "WB" shirt on and my Red..........well, it's always red. I'll be arriving with my voice but I dont think I'm gonna be leaving with it! GO BRUINS!
