  1. well, gimme a call when you get there.....you can sit with me and WBbear again!!! Anybody else?
  2. Let me get this straight, Kirbyville is the District 21 runner-up at 8-1.......they will be playing the District 22 Champion Cleveland at 3-6...........am I missing something here? Doesn't make much sense to me, but OK! ???
  3. yeah......what he said!. Hey Soulja, you gonna be at the game on Friday, or are you going to the Lumpton/Ned game?
  4. According to what I'm told, WB's first round playoff game will be against Pasadena South Houston to be played at Stallworth Stadium in Baytown on Saturday November 17, at 1pm. I think we will be the visitors.
  5. BEAT payper-view!!!.....err, something like that! I'll be there. We should all try and sit together. Are you with me? or can I count on somebody besides a Central fan(BMTSoulja1)showing up and enjoying the game together? Who else will be there?
  6. gosh, i remember him from those stupid Star Brake commercials! :D
  7. OK, this is what would have to happen for WB to go Div 1...........as it is Kingwood and Humble are slated to go Division 1. Humble so because of their record at 5-1, and Kingwood because they only have to beat Sterling to be 4-3 in district(currently they are 3-3). And also because they are larger than us. So, Kingwood would have to lose to Sterling, leaving then with a 3-4 district mark. Then Lee would have to lose to Atascocita, leaving them also at 3-4. PAM would have to beat Humble, therefore putting them at 4-3 in district, and Channelview would have to beat WB, also leaving them with a 4-3 district mark. IF all that were to happen then the final playoff standings would look like this.....WB 6-1, Humble 5-2, Channelview 4-3 and PAM 4-3, Lee at 3-4, and Kingwood at 3-4. Now, because Channelview and PAM are both smaller in attendance than WB, they would both go Division 2. Thus leaving WB, although we are the 6th smallest school in the district, and Humble to go Division 1. Did I lose anybody there? ;D With that being said, it's a very unlikely scenario for us to go Division 1!
  8. I'm just questioning what scenario would put us in Division1. We are ranked 6 out of 8 schools as far as attendance. Memorial and Channelview(who are both smaller than us) would both have to make the playoffs for us to go big school. The likelyhood of that happening is extremely remote. So I would venture to say that we're going small school.
  9. are these just rumors or is this confirmed? I know we'll probably be playing South Houston, but where did the time and date come from? To my knowledge, that hasn't been discussed yet. I just checked, and they're definitely in the postseason at 6-3 and 4-2. I just didn't know they had already decided on a time and date.....just checking!
  10. That was me....I deleted my own post. After I looked at it, I decided that I did not want to appear negative, so I deleted it. I do agree with you, however, about only putting band mambers on the field that actually want to be there. By forcing certain students to participate in something that they dont want to, just hurts everyone that wants to be there. There is very little pride in the band, and that starts at the top, IMO. I can respect that you want to be there, but you're one of the few that does, and you're the one's that are suffering. As far as not being heard....well, I'll sit in the stands and participate when Paw Power and the fight song are played and I'll be just as happy as a lark. Dont give up on the band, though........things are certain to change in the future for the better(hopefully). In the meantime, play what they tell you to play.....but play L O U D !!! Sorry if I offended anyone, that was not my intent. Rock on SoundPower!!!!!! ;D
  11. I agree with you 100%.....as much as I'd like to see PAM win this one, I dont see it happening. Even if they do pull off a miracle and win, they're still gonna have to have alot of help just to get in the playoffs.
  12. the season aint over yet. some teams still have the post-season. Do the playoffs count?
  13. it's looking like Pasadena South Houston in the first round!
  14. I'll be riding along with WBbear!
  15. OK, now that I have my computer back (sure missed you guys) I have but one thing to say to the Falcons and their fans......."are you all on crack?...do you really think this is gonna happen two years in a row?" WB played a very good Humble team on Friday and shut them down in the second half. The Bruins WILL be the outright 21-5A District Champions. Try as you wish to prevent that from happening, but if you do YOU WILL FAIL! I will be there on Friday to wave the victory banner for the Bruins and say "I told ya so!" Look out Falcons, the Bruins are coming and they're loaded to make sure you stay on the endangered species list. Good Luck on Friday. If I was your coach, I'd make a request to the UIL to go back to 4A where you belong, 'cause you just cant hang! >
  16. Well, WB has got a great defense and a pretty good offense as well. If our guys play to potential, we could potentially get to the quarterfinals (4th round). WB is most likely gonna see Pasadena South Houston in the first round. If we get past them, then it's looking like FB Clements in the second round. My guess is that we'd probably see Cy-Falls in the third round. The Bruins played a good game against the Glolden Eagles last year in a loss, but I think this years team could beat them. Then there's the Regional Finals, where we'd see Katy. That's where the ride will probably end. While this is a very good WB team, I dont think we've quite got the team that can beat a very good Tiger team, yet. Maybe in a couple more years, but I think our train will get de-railed in the fourth round. BUT, this is the playoffs, where anything can happen. WB might lose in the first round, although not likely. But any of the aforementioned teams could get knocked out before we see them. As I've said before, at this point in the game I'd rather be lucky than good! ;D Good Luck Bruins!
  17. Dont put too much into that Lee score.....they have alot of injured players and started their JV quarterback on Friday
  18. Well, in my opinion both WB and Humble didnt play their best football. Brook did, however, make some key halftime adjustments that limited Humble's offense and pretty much held the game in check from there. Congrats to both teams as they are both gonna see more teams like this in the playoffs. For the Brook, I think this was the best game and result you could have asked for. They won a very hard fought, defensive battle that gained alot of playoff type experience. The kids will blow through Channelview with ease. We should be in good shape for the playoffs! Good luck in the playoffs Humble!
  19. ......and then drove over them!
  20. hey you guys, save me some of that chili....maybe it will be a cool night for it! You guys need to call me when you get there! ;D
  21. I think the coaching staff will finally get PAM back into the win column. It wont be by much, but a win, nonetheless. Titan-ics by 15!
  22. It's somewhere different every time.......I've seen our first games at Rice, Pasadena Memorial(alot), Astrodome, Stallworth, Deer Park, and I think even once at Cardinal Stadium(long time ago). Alot of factors determine where we would play our potential first post season game. We wont know until after Week 10 and an opponent is determined. The two coaches will then meet with their district's transportaion directors. Then they will decide on a neutral site that both teams can agree on.
