I'm waiting for the 5ATexasFootball rankings to come out as there's a chance we'll break into their top 25 poll as well!

I dont know about easy......I've seen Humble scouts at at least three of our games looking at us at the Sterling, Lee and the Kingwood game. They will be ready. I feel fairly good about the game, though. If we just show up to play, and play our brand of football, I think we'll be OK!

Well, after Week 8 and our win over PA Memorial, we moved up a little in the rankings.......we're up to #18 in 5A! Way to go Bruins! [Hidden Content]

All I can say is WOW they wanted to win that game badly! Did you see the opposing players basically quit and stop pursuing the ball after about the 8th lateral.....Amazing! I counted 15 lateral passes in that play!

well, you've got Sterling next week, who you'll probably beat......but then you've got Humble. They're gonna be pissed after getting beat by WB the week before, so they'll prolly be playing with a sense of urgency to go into the playoffs on a winning note. I doubt PAM will beat the Wildcats. So, no you're prolly not in!

tie breaker is decided on head to head competition, after that it's based on points scored!

What's our current injury status? Did we lose anybody last Friday night. We're gonna need everyone on their A game against the Wildcats! WB could have beaten them last year, and I think we're better in all facets of the game this year. Should be a great game!

well, if we are in a playoff game against a team that is as pass happy as PAM was, we're gonna have to step it up. It's my understanding, that if we are playing a team in the playoffs that does alot of passing and we are not able to stop it, that coaches can put in Christine Michael in at cornerback. I'm told that he's the best CB on the team, but is more valueable at RB. If Freddie King had gotten out of control last night and we couldn't stop him, that Michaels would have been put in the game to shut him down!

I'd like to see WB win big in this game. Humble seems to play a very slow paced, grind out the clock, kind of game. I'm not sure they can keep up with our fast paced, score often type of offense. WB by 3 scores.

Not with Brooks. With Hooks, maybe......it wouldn't be right away, though. It would take some time.

Actually, the play in question with the injured player, PAM was on offense and WB intercepted the ball. He was hurt while trying to stop the runback. I think he ended up on the bottom of the pile! Sure hope he's OK!
