  1. WOW, that must have been one heck of a game to watch....should be clear sailing now for SLC to win yet another 5A state championship. Go Dragons!!!
  2. texasprepxtra.com, texasfootball.com, and 5atexasfootball.com all have WB picked to win. If the Bruins are able to pull out the win, there would likely be a third round matchup against Cy-Falls(they should beat 10-1 Stratford). I don't think WB would win that one....but it's gonna be fun to watch!
  3. i think you're right COOP, carroll should win this one..... but, it's gonna be a great game. SLC has too good of a defense to let this one slip away!
  4. found out today that Jacody Coleman #55 is out for this game, but could be back for a possible third playoff game, if the Bruins make it that far. The defense is really going to have to step it up and play four quarter football in order for them to have a chance. Good Luck Bruins!
  5. i don't think so.... it's either going to be one way or the other. it wont be a close game. WB is either going to show up to play, and their going to put 50 points or so on the board, or their "not so good" defense will be there, and they'll lose by two or three TD's. Whichever team shows up will dictate how the game goes!
  6. you are right "weedbegone"......i did hear that this FB marshall team is like no other team WB has faced this year (whatever that means). hopefully, we will get jacody coleman back next week (injured knee). defense has been pretty banged up since the PA Memorial game. WB had alot of injuries in that game because of the aggressiveness and dirtiness that was played by the Titans(just my opinion), and they're finally starting to get some of the starters back. if the defense gets back on track, it's gonna be hard for Marshall to stop'em....should be a good game, though! GO BROOK!
  7. well, it totally depends on which WB team shows up... if the team that played the last two weeks prior to playoffs shows up, WB is in trouble. if the team that played the first 7 weeks of the season shows up, FB Marshall is gonna have a long game ahead of them. The team that showed up in the second half today against Memorial, is gonna be hard to beat. If the right team shows up the next two weeks, it would not suprise me, or anybody, to see them in the regional finals against Katy. The question is, which team will it be? Go BROOK!
  8. Albert Williams Player of the Game. 227 yards 5 TD's
  9. 5 TD'S for Albert Williams for the game, 15 for the year. Christian Michael had 2 TD's for the game, 19 for the year. Both of these guys are gonna be back next year!!
  10. INT Falgout at the 7. FINAL WB 57-34. Well, look out FB Marshall, here comes a rejuvenated WB offense!! GO BROOK. We just need for that defense to play a little bit better.
  11. WB defense has stepped it up in the second half....they're still not great, but the offense is making up for it. FINALLY, the boys have showed up to play.
  12. Albert Williams from the 46 57-34 Bruins
  13. Bruins knocking on the door again!! Another TD Brook
  14. whew, sounds like that was a great game!! congratulations Ganders on a great season.....sounds like you got North Shore's attention.
  15. WOW wouldnt have expected that!!!! do you have a current score?
  16. scooter, i don't think it's because they're afraid.....i think it's because the PAM game was exhausting, mentally and physically. PAM came out swinging and ready to play, while WB came out flat. it took alot out of those boys to overcome a good memorial team and fight back to win. plus, memorial was playing very aggressive. if memorial plays laporte with the same kind of intensity, they should win. good luck TITANS!
  17. hope your right about that steam-roller!
  18. well, the PK is not much of a big loss, he wasn't that effective when he was healthy. it seems like he missed at least one PAT in every game. i still think their biggest weakness is their defense. although i'm told they played the channelview game without DB Billy Chavis. i think he's also hurt. as i said before, they're pretty banged up! i'll be totally shocked if they can pull out a win. i'm not being a pessimist, i'm just being realistic.
  19. even if they're not real strong COOP, have you seen WB play the last two weeks, they've stunk up the place. if you had told me three weeks ago that WB would have finished the way they did, i would have said that you were crazy, but it is what it is. i just dont think this team has a strong enough character to rebound and make a deep playoff run. i would love to be wrong, but i don't think i am. i guess we'll see on saturday
  20. i know Stump will, he's a great coach!! all i was saying is that i just think maybe their attitude is lacking....almost like they've given up and just don't care. i definitely hope i'm wrong and they show up to play on saturday, 'cause this is it! in fact, i'd pay money if they would show up and play with a sense of urgency, and some pride. i think that is something they sorely lack. PRIDE! i hope i'm wrong!
