Looks like ole Mr Defense, Chuck Langston, ain't getting it done. So, more mediocrity from the Bruins, this year.

Damn. The WB defense looks weaker than a spring branch. Sad.

Peevey took West Brook to the 6A D2 state title game, in 2018, and lost to Longview 35-34. He can coach.

Yeah, but its just United. They shouldn't even be on the scoreboard. The Bruin Defense is going to have to step up when they get into district play. I dont even want to think about what would happen to the Bruin offense if Bryce went down. The offense appears to be too one dimensional, from the comments I'm seeing.

What do we know about Clear Falls? I've never even heard of them. What's their record?

Haven't paid much attention to Brook this season. On paper, Pasadena Memorial is the better team. But, we all know the Pasadena schools are weaker than a spring branch. As long as Brook has Bryce Anderson at QB, and Peevey calling the game, WB has a chance. This is a game the Bruins should win.

Longview by 13. West Brooks defense is extremely suspect. I know some will say they held Bellaire Episcopal to 10, but I think Kelly could have beaten that team. Lol! The Bruin offense can score some points, provided they can keep from turning it over, and they're going to have to to stay in this game. But the defense has miles to go. I'd say 'Dem Boze by 2 scores.

I sure hope so. If they play against SJ, like they played the first half against Kingwood, I dont think the Crusaders have a chance. And yea, provided we win, we'll be playing a Creek school in the 3rd round.

I truly had no idea this kind of thing went on. Earning a gold trophy for winning a state title seems a little less special, now, if you have all those other ones. Just my thoughts.

Well, that may be true, but West Brook still looked much better than when they played Sterling, LaPorte, King, United, and especially Deer Park. If they keep doing their thing, and keep improving every week, I think they could find themselves back in the state championship game. I'll be there to root them on.

This is the most balanced, best game I've seen Brook play all season. If they continue to play like this, a return trip to Arlington could be possible. Bruins look really good!
