Details: LP is down to only 2 OL & 1 TE out now. Bye Week is good timing this week.  ;)
Bring your gas mask week 10. were burning marshes.  :D
;) Seriously, BWB seemed to want to try a lot of passes to the flats. Won't work against LP. Couldn't get the edge on runs. Couldn't get anything inside. Spearman made a couple good catches as I recall, but was taken away most of the night. BWB D was being pushed around pretty good. LP needs to clean up some play. I think they had over 100 yds. in penalties and still over 500 in offense. Starters pulled after 3. Teams may want to rethink stacking 8-9 in the box against LP.
The problem is, Spearman is the only WR Clack is allowed to throw to. All the other receivers are just used as decoys. It's not hard to figure out who the ball is being thrown to. Hence, it isn't hard to figure out who to double team, thus taking away any real passing threat. It's a shame, really, because there are some othere really good receivers on the team that wont see a pass thrown to them. This just from my own observation.
 2. Most of us are still here, but unfortunately, there hasn't been much to rave about, as of late. And for the record, I'm still willing to give the new HC a chance to prove himself, worthy or otherwise. But so far, it doesn't look favorable for him having a lasting tenure at WB. After 5 games, this season, the offense has yet to find any rhythm, or consistency. The defense, while doing a decent job, is just getting worn down because they are on the field for so long. As longtime Bruin fans, and alumni, we don't expect to win every game we play in.....that would be unrealistic. However, we do expect to get out there and at least compete! Which is something Flanagan, up to this point, has not been able to do on a consistent basis. Again, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but something is going to have to change.....rapidly, or he just may be the shortest tenured coach at Brook. We expect a better product than what has been put on the field, this year. But, win or lose, I will still be there to support my Bruins.
 3. Oh my Lawd! Flanagan has totally dropped the ball in preparing the Bruins for thisgame. Totally inexcusable! WB hasnt been strummed this bad since Al Rabb was HC. Flanagan might ought to just run himself out of town!
 4.

I think Stump was an adequate coach what do conxider bs from Stump I agree that Stump was a pretty good coach, in his first few years at Brook. But, if you read any of my posts from last season, you should know why. As I said, favorites were being played, and those favorites did not give WB the best chance to win. That is all I will elaborate on this subject.
 5. WB's offense, up to this point, has been very one dimensional in the passing game. In that, on pass plays, Clack doesn't seem go through his receiver reads. He seems to key on Spearman, and Spearman only. This makes it easy for defenses to figure out who he's throwing to. There are alot of other receivers to throw to, instead of using them as decoys. Hopefully, with an extra week off to prepare, the Bruins will be able to sustain some drives, score some points, and keep our defense off the field. LP is likely the best team WB has seen, yet. If the Bruins aren't careful, this game could get out of hand in a hurry.
Hell and North Shore beat the crap out of Cinco Ranch. I just hope that this year Katy goes Divsion 1 like they should anytime a school with that enrollment makes the playoff. Hay the rules are the rules though.
Well...Katy is there are 4 schools in Katy's district that are larger than theirs....pretty sure they don't make the rules....enrollment numbers don't matter...it's participation numbers. I've seen Schools almost twice the size as Katy with fewer that 50 kids on varsity. North Shore also beat the crap out of Clear Springs...who beat the crap out of LP...... Not a Katy fan, but technically...Klein,Alief Taylor, Woodlands, Morton ranch.....are all D1 teams...For what it's worth.
HA! OK. LOL! ;)
 7. And kids tend to want to go to the winning programs. WB's numbers, in the program, aren't what you would expect from a 5A program. Kids want to go where they can win, and where they can play. Unfortunately, the last few years at WB, only the favorites were getting playing time. As a result, alot of those kids elected to go to Ozen, where they wouldn't have to put up with the BS, and where they could play. Hopefully, with this new regime, we will start to see the numbers increase at WB.

I believe he is 0-4 against the Mustangs.
Any team with equal or better talent beats Stump! No wins against westfield! Katy beat him like drum every time he played them. One win against North Shore! No wins against Humble! Dude leaves a legacy of underachieving teams. One season he has the top back in the state and doesn't make it out of the second round, go figure... Smh
No, we beat then once. The last year they were in our district.....I think it may have been 08, or 09.....maybe even 07 (the year we went 10-1). It was at Durley, that I remember, because I almost got thrown out of the game for arguing with an official while I was on the sidelines. Can you believe that? LOL!
 9. PAM is definitely the better team, but CV always seems to play them tough. I think PAM wins, but it probably wont be a blowout.
 10. WB is averaging just over 310 yards a game, this season. That really doesn't say much for a nascar-style offense thats suppose to be able to score at will. But it has also been hit and miss, with this offense so far. If they can keep some drives alive, score a few points, and keep the defense from getting worn out by the 3rd quarter, then I think the Bruins can sneak away with one. Hopefully, the extra week off will put them ahead of LP in preparation, and it will show on the field.

Central has to much speed for Lumberton, this will be a blowout for Central by 3-4 TD's.
THIS!
 12. I was getting updates from him, from the game, last night. If you'd like, I can post some of the texts. LOL! But, I will let Soulja give you his synopsis.

I believe he is 0-4 against the Mustangs.
yes.  And all 4 losses were woodshed beatings...
Not all of them. 2007, or 2008, we hung with them pretty close. In fact, I believe they had to come from behind to win. Score was something like 32-28. It was the first year we had C-Mike and Albert.
 14.
where people saying that there was problems at North Shore. When you chosing from 4000 kids it should be easy to find 30 to play football.
30? They routinely have 70-75, on the sidelines, and even more once the playoffs start. I wish we had their numbers. SMH!
 15. Westfield has always had Stump's number. I believe he is 0-4 against the Mustangs.
 16. While the Bruin offense was able to score 7 times, in a win against Chavez, LaPorte is definitely alot better than the Lobo's. The Bulldog defense is probably the best the Bruins will have seen. Can the Bruins score enough to keep pace with LP? Your thoughts?
 17. I hope you're right about the Deer defense being bad. If thats the case, PAM should be able to win by as many as they want. Admittedly, the Titan offense isn't near as potent as they were a year ago, but still should be able to put up some points. PAM by 3 scores.
 18.
nice jerseys  8)
Yeah, I like those, too. It was time for something different. They looked good!
 19. Well, I guess our boys got plenty of chances to score. WB must have finally found an offense, or Chavez is just a really bad football team. I'm going with the latter. Good job on the win, Bruins!
 20. Hey, let's up the ante a bit?! Let's put him in the press box, and let him call a game! THAT would be entertaining! I don't normally follow small school games, but I would definitely tune into one if Soulja was the color guy! ;D
 21.
If WB wins its a HUGE confidence builder, if they lose it could be the end of their season before district even starts. WB 37 Chavez 17
You sho got that right! The kids need the confidence of being able to score some points. The defense would love it to not have to spend so much time on the field, too. Entirely too many "3 and outs" over the last few weeks.
 22. WOW! 715 yards passing? That's insane crazy!
