1. HA! If Clack stays healthy, we should have it 'rolling' by then! ;)
2.
Westside has a QB that has comlpeted 25 of 37 attempts for 572 and 6 TD's - but that was mostly against a weak Houston Reagan team.  They hung tight with Fort Bend Clements only to lose 41-35. PAM will be prepared and will win this easily IMO - by 2 or 3 TD's.
Reagan= GARBAGE    Clements= GARBAGE! Houston Reagan isn't usually a playoff contender, and Clements hasn't been competitive since Derek Carr was QB in......2007? As I said, Westside doesn't bring much that PAM's athleticism and speed wont beat. PAM by 3 scores.
3.

okay folks, i hate to say it,but brook grabs a "L" this week. lamar always have good teams. PAM is 3-2 against them from the past meetings. the last time we faced them they beat us in 4 ots(thanks colbert!!). thinking brook gets handled 35-21. fyi, i wouldn't use central as a measuring stick. not bashing central, just saying you can't use them as a stick because on offense, mitchell is really it. defense, well i won't touch.
Preach! Single-handedly ran Jamaal into the ground that game, i was talking to Soulja bout that days ago. I think this will be a close game though, apparently this nascar-like spread attack WB has is potent when it gets going.
YES! If, and when, WB gets that offense going, its going to give defenses fits. I saw glimpses of it against Central, and the poor Jaguar defense couldn't keep up. Give WB a couple more weeks to get things ironed out, and the Brook could be a handful come district. ;)
4. We kinda knew that, coming into this season. New coach, new system, young team......but, with that in mind, I still dont think Lamar is gonna blow out the Bruins. Realistically, they will probably win, but I expect WB to compete.
5. My gut feeling says the Titans by 3 scores. Westside isn't usually a playoff contender out of their district.
6. Good luck to the Pirates. Clear Brook plays in a 5A district with Clear Lake, Dickinson, ect.....they are no push over team! They usually claim one of the playoff spots out of that district. Given the fact that they barely lost to LaPorte.....who is awfully good. They will be ready for that Wing T offense! Again, I wish Vidor the best of luck, but my gut says Clear Brook in this one, especially since its a home game for them. This will be a huge measuring stick for Vidor, and will go a long way in helping them prapare for a tough district. Good luck!
7.
I was looking at Lamar's roster and seem there quarterbacks name Darrel Colbert jr..Is he related to West Brook's end form the 82" championship team Darrel Colbert.
Could be. I spoke to Darrel, on Saturday, about the upcoming 30th Anniversary State Championship Tailgate Party, and his phone number had a 713 area code. If I see him, this Saturday, I will ask him.
8. I haven't seen any film, on Lamar, but I agree, if WB can limit the turnovers, and keep drives sustained, then I think the Bruins can play with them. When the kids get used to that hurry up offense, it will cause some problems for opposing defenses. But WB has to eliminate the mental mistakes and turnovers.
9. I'm not sure what to think about this potential matchup. If memory serves me correctly, and this is straight from memory, the only time West Brook and Lamar have played, was in the third round of the 1990 playoffs, in the Astrodome, in which Lamar's stingy defense shut out the Brook, 10-0. Anyway, I like the potential of the "hurry up" offense WB is running. If the Bruins can limit the mistakes, and turnovers, then I think the Brook can play with the Redskins. Defense was ok, in spurts last night, but still has alot to do to be effective for 4 quarters. But, its a totally new defensive scheme they're playing. Granted, WB has a very young team, and has alot to improve on, but I like the philosophy Flanagan is trying to implement. I think WB will only get better. Your thoughts?
10. It depends on the spread. WB lost to Ozen by 4, and beat Central by 7. If Central beats Ozen by 5, then WB wins the trophy back. If Ozen wins, they get it.
11. Pass incomplete. West Brook wins 26-19. Game over.
12. Central driving.....at the 6. 4th down. 42.1 seconds left.
13. WB will try a 31 yard FG attempt. Good! Bruins now lead 26-19. 7:00 left in the game.
14. WB with a 61 yard kickoff return. Bruins at the 12 driving.......need to score! Another penalty.....Bruins backing up. 3rd and 12 from the 14.....Bruin ball......
15. Central trying to make a game out of it. Jags TD on a 19 yard run. 23-19. PAT failed.
16. Prolly so. Im gonna huess we'll. Hit 10 before the game is over. Lol!
17. WB was driving and fumbled the reverse. Central picked it up and went to the house. Jags missed the extra point. WB leads 23-13. I think that makes 7 or 8 turnovers for the game.
18. West Brook driving to start the second half. West Brook will try a FG. Good! Brook leads 23-7.
19. Maybe so. Ozen's game tomorrow will tell us a lot.
20. I would be saying the same thing, Buddy. Cause if this team hung with yall, like that, PAM wont make the playoffs either. Y'all might have your hands full with Ozen, tomorrow.
21. Central just had 5 false start penalties in a row! It is now 4th and 14. 21 seconds in the half. West Brook 20 Central 7.
