1. WB driving. TD Bruins! 20-7. I hate to say it, WB looks pretty bad, but Central looks worse. Too many miscues and penalties. Oh, and turnovers, too. 6 so far, in the first half. 5:07 in the 2nd.
 2. Mitchell sacked, and fumbles. WB takes over. And Clack gets sacked. Tnis is just a terrible, terrible display of football. Neither team looks like they will win a single game.
 3. Clack throws an INT. Central gets the ball right back, at the 19. Geez!
 4. Correction, WB missed the extra point. 13-7. Brooks defense is very suspect in the secondary. Jags driving. Jags score. Another penalty, no TD. Jags 2nd and goal from the 18. Dropped pass. 3rd and 18. Pass from Mitchell dropped. 4th and 18. Jags going for it........pass dropped. WB takes over on downs. Whew!
 5.

Central returns the kickoff for a TD. Could it help that the kickoff only went 20 yards? SMH. West Brook 7 Central 7. This is going to be a long game. Ugh!
How does a kickoff only go 20 yards unless it was a pooch or intentional onside?
Its just the way he kicks. He's a soccer style kicker. It just goes straight up, and straight down.
 6. TD Stephen Wycoff. Bruins 14 Central 7. 11:05 in the 2nd.

 8. Central 0 West Brook 0. 2:49 in the first. 4 TO's so far. Neither offense can get anything going. On the positive side, West Brook's defense looks a little better.
 9. I've seen some very nice deer camps. :)
 10. Again, I'm not making bold predictions, but i believe our starting QB, Clack, will be back in the lineup for the Central game. If he is, the i should expect to see the offense look alot different. I would also expect to see more than 29 points, on the board. My biggest concern is our defense. Granted, Ozen is probably alot more talented than we are, but I'm not so sure the move to a 3/4 setup, from a 4/3 scheme, was the right move. Granted, its only the 2nd game, and the kids have to learn new formations, but dang! Only time will tell. Good luck to the Jaguars. Dont want any injuries, for either side, in this one.
 11.

He can have the helm, next year. We need a passing threat to open up the offense, right now.
Do you know if Clack is a go for Friday?
I dont know. Imma see if I can find out, and I will let you know.
 12. He can have the helm, next year. We need a passing threat to open up the offense, right now.
 13. I didnt see the Ozen game, so i have little to go on, other than what folks have told me. As bad as the defense played, i cant see Flanagan letting the same thing happen two weeks in a row. Also, Chris Clack didnt play at QB. Nothing against Padia, but Clack is the starter and can fun the offense better. Ozen is probably the most athletic team in the area, and WB almost beat them. If both sides of the ball improve, like they should, then i like the Bruins chances in this game.
 14. What the heck happened to Chris Clack? Isn't he suppose to be the starter?
 15.

How did Atascocita look in that scrimmage?
Not well from what I've heard.
Sorry, but I have to laugh at that. Karma is a, well.....it sucks. HA! ;)
 16. Hey, anything can happen. I mean, nobody expected ya'll to go as far as you did, last year. Admittedly, I'm a bit apprehensive about making any kind of bold predictions, at this point, as I still dont really know what we have. Yes, we are going to be very young, but we still have some talent. Flanagan is tweaking the offense, a bit, but we should be able to put some points on the board. Our QB, Clack, is gonna be decent. Our defense is changing schemes, completely, so we will just have to see. After a couple of games are played, I hope I feel more comfortable about our season. Right now, I've got my fingers crossed.
Weak Brooke bringing out the band, cheerleaders and drill team again?  ::)
??? This is the second thread youve made mention of this in. Did they do this last year, or something?
 18.
Beaumont This and Beaumont that You wont find a better opponent to smack They aligator mouths with a hummingbird @#$ they mouths write checks that they @#$ cant cash WB look weak and Central is a fraud Stump has left but he was a fake Todd Dodge. Central District champs somebody's on Booze Soulja said himself that the coach is a Stooge. Ozen made a run with that kid Trey Green Success at Ozen has been seldom seen. To all my Beaumont friends Ive kept it clean and respectful But come the night u meet the Titans dont take the @#$ kicking Personal
;) Very clever, D. Man, I just hope we got something for our scheduled opponents. With a new coach, comes a whole new ball game. We have a lot to learn, but I think we'll suprise some folks......maybe even PAM! ;)
 19.
Weak Brooke has one lone fan still on here after the Deer Park debacle.  :D
Hey, we're still here....lurking just below the surface, Quietly waiting to see what kind of team we have this year. ;)
 20. This poll, for years, has been the most inaccurate, far fetched, poll out there. These guys are usually waaaaay off base, and almost never parallel any other polls. But, this is why we play the game. ;)
 21. As Pastor Dabney would say.....Amen, and Amen!
 22. Grad, I can either text you (I think I still have your number), or post it on the game thread. With my new work schedule, I doubt I will be able to make all the games, this year, but I will get info to the board whenever I can.
 23.
It's a greater Houston area TSRN poll. TSRN (who broadcasts mostly Houston area teams) will be somewhat biased in their rankings. They will rank Houston teams over Golden Triangle teams most of the time mainly because they just do not have any knowledge of the GT teams.
Yep. Pretty much hit the nail on the head. Fortunately, rankings dont mean a thing. Yeah, its nice to be recognized, but it doesn't get you any W's. Good luck to all teams that made it on that list.
 24. Like was said, Flanagan gets a clean slate to start with. But I like what I'm hearing out of the folks at WB, this year. It's likely going to be a different offense than what we're use to seeing. And when the defense gets accustomed to the 3/4 scheme, I think they will be ok. The key to this season, IMO, is staying focused and try to get better each week. There will be no "gimme" games, this season. When its all said and done, I think the Bruins will be in line for one of those playoff spots in the 215.
