  1. Absolutely 100% agree. No respect for that garbage
  2. Completely 100% agree. If you legitimately play hard, and lose to a lesser team, then you dont deserve to represent 21-6A in the playoffs. If you intentionally throw a game in order to improve your playoff standing, then you're a schmuck, and you have no integrity, and you shouldn't represent 21-6A. By losing, WB ensured DP going D1,and WB goes the weaker D2, guaranteeing a longer playoff run. Either way, the Bruins shouldn't have lost to the Deer. Its despicable.
  3. Damn shame. Eric Peevey needs to check himself. That's inexcusable.
  4. Wow, I never thought I'd see the day West Brook intentionally threw a game in order to better their playoff game position. If you say they didnt throw the game, and actually played them hard, then my opinion of this team went in the toilet, and we should simply bow out of the playoffs in order to save face, because we suck. What the hell is going on over on Phelan Blvd?
  5. Calpreps has is Atascocita 38 West Brook 35. Nobody thought Brook would make it all the way to state, last year, either.
  6. Yeah, Atascocita is good, but they play on a dumpster fire district. I think if WB were to go D1, it would be a very close game with them.
  7. Because he wants them to have an opportunity to play for a winning team? I dont know, I'm just guessing. Call me crazy.
  8. To answer the question to the thread post, no. Coach Peevey is a stand up guy, with morals, and ethics. I believe if asked, he would simply say they play to win the game, regardless of the opponent in front of them, regardless of which division the Bruins are in. I believe they will go to DP with the game plan on doing whatever is necessary to beat the Deer. So, basically the same plan they've had since the start of district, in doing just enough to win. Beat Sterling in week 11, and let the cards fall where they may. Just my .02
  9. Spot on. The missed PATs, and FGs, have almost exclusively been due to high snaps.
  10. All things considered, I thought West Brook showed huge improvement, especially since it was a 55-7 drubbing last season. The Bruins competed, tonight. The defense played pretty well, and even forced a few NS punts. The offense did well, but the best teams will struggle against their defense. Ns is the real deal, and while we didnt get the win, it was a step in the right direction. The 25 points the Bruins scored is the most given up by North Shore this season. Hell, Katy only scored 24 against them. The Bruins will be fine, especially if we go D2. Should we make it all the way to state, again, I believe the outcome may be different. I know it's a loss, but the measuring stick used in this game says the Bruins are doing something right.
  11. Exactly. When you have twice the number of kids, and talent pool, to pull from, you increase your chances of putting better players on the field.
  12. That seems about right.
  13. Ahhhhhh, I had not heard that. Regardless, I dont think his playing would change the outcome of the game. So, probably best to just save him for the playoffs, and really utilize him for a deep playoff run.
  14. Well, anything can happen. Jakobi Holland will be back for this game, which helps the running game. But, we've got to get Anderson more involved on the offense. The only chance Brook has is to simply outscore NS. I know, I know, it sounds crazy. But, our defense will not keep them from scoring. So, we've got to throw the whole kitchen at them, on offense, and hope we bust some big plays for scores.
  15. North Shore 46 West Brook 24
  16. This post is completely relevant, because West Brook owned Central, Ozen, and now United. The talent level has been about the same, but the coaching seems to be the catalyst for better teams. But, when you win a state championship in your first year of existence, it sets a precedent for success.
  17. You're probably right. That doesnt mean I cant beat you with my cane. Lol! Listen man, we are both pulling for the same team, here, we just have a different outlook on it. I'm hard on my team. I've always been hard on them. It doesnt mean that I'm not as passionate about them, or want to see them win any less than you. We just have a difference of opinion, and that's fine. We all know nobody is beating anybody up, as much as you'd probably like to. Lol! The point is, we should be cheering for them, together. If you think I'm a loud mouth, well, you're probably not the only one. But, I'm not afraid to call it like I see it. Regardless, I dont take this stuff serious enough to go trolling another poster on Facebook, and you shouldn't, either. But, if you still want to beat me up, if you can catch my old decrepit ass, you probably have the size/weight advantage over me, which is why I think I can outrun you. Lol! #BGOE
  18. CalPreps has it North Shore 46 West Brook 24
  19. Besides, I'm pretty sure if he wanted to beat me up, i can outrun him. 🤣
  20. He didnt graduate from West Brook with me. I'm an old, Rob. Lol
  21. This is a white thing, isn't it? You dont like me because I'm white, huh. Lol! And what does the fact that I live in Lumberton have to do with my opinion of West Brook football? I've been watching Brook games since you were an itch in your daddy's pants. Lol
  22. Why, you gonna beat me up? 🤣
