1. First off, I am a fan and a proud graduate of West Brook. I am also not naieve, either. The realist in me says, we should give them a great battle but will prolly come up short in the end. The optimist in me says, we're ranked #7 in the state and can prolly hang with anybody in the state, and therefore, have a good chance of beating Katy. So imma look at it like this......if I wager that the Bruins lose, and that comes to fruition, then I win the bet and whatever has been wagered. If the Bruins win the game and I lose the bet, then the wager doesn't really matter cause I was wrong and we've won the game. So you see, I win either way. Is that a distorted way of looking at, or what?  ;) I would rather lose the bet and win the game, to be perfectly honest. So to answer your question....I'm not really betting against our boys, but I'm not betting for them, either. Confused....me too! ;D Either way, Katy is gonna leave Beaumont knowing that they just played a really good team.

Now the pressure's on! Hopefully we wont look like.......PAM, to the rest of the area! :D ;)
>:( >:( >:( >:( Well I guess you'd BETTER put on a darn good show, I know I'm gonna throw an after party and the Katy Tigers and gonna be my guests of honor!!!
No need for all that. If PAM were to play them, I'm sure they would do the same thing to PAM....only worse. WB can only get better from playing Katy....which is bad for PAM! ;D
You sat next to me during the North Shore game last year....the one that wasn't a mud bowl win....and I told you they were going to win....DEEEEJJJJJAAAAVVVVUUUU..... ;D
OK! I put my faith in your predictions, good sir. I certainly hope you're right. Hmmmmm, lets see. What would I be willing to do if you were actually correct in your predictions? Do I hear a wager going here?

 5. Sorry AAW, all I saw were the rankings. :)
 6. They are completed and will be posted soon.
 7. Providing West Brook wins this Saturday against Ike, the Katy game would represent the first time West Brook would have played another ranked team, AS a ranked team. Right now it would be the #3 Katy Tigers against the #7 West Brook Bruins. I think it will be on every highlight reel in the state. I hope we give them a good game! ;)

 9. Well, by the time WB plays LP, we will have seen some of the best in the state.....Katy, Tyler Lee, PA Memorial, ans North Shore. I agree that they appear to be a better team from last year, but I think WB will be fine against them. Hopefully we will make it through the season without getting too banged up and can give them a good game.
 10. WOW! It looks like everyone in 21-5A is gonna be tough to beat. LP smoked Lee; NS destroyed Ike 62-20; WB mauled Central 55-7.....and it looks like Sterling may be able to compete this year. I believe PAM will dis-assemble Ozen, as well. District play is definitely gonna be tough for everyone.
 11.
Man I witness WB take Central to the Woodshed and Lay the smackdown on their candies and cookies.Central looked like a beaten team from the start. the Jags didnt look very enthused to be out there. Its time to find an identity too; Are you a running team or a spread Passing team. Running the ball from under center would benefit the Jags alot more. 3P's Piss poor Performance; They are just that bad IMO.
You are absolutely correct, bigd. The only time I saw Central move the ball was when they ran the ball straight up the gut. Every time they tried to go to the outside with some sort of option or side run, they got shut down. I think Central will be OK, but they need to build up a little confidence first. Playing two really good schools like PAM and WB didn't help their confidence levels.

Neither Central or Ozen was ever able to drive the field and score, so I dont take much into the fact that they scored on us. BTW, our starters were pulled in the third, and the backups scored twice. I dont know if WB is that good, or if Central was......not so good. Either way, its a win, and the trophy stays at the Brook. The WB/PAM game should be a great one!!!!
So where did Ozen's score come from last week, I don't remember?
A busted play.....we stacked the box for what looked like a run play. Our LB's moved in when the QB got to scrambling. He threw up a lucky pass and it was caught with nothing in front of him but the end zone. Again, no one has been able to drive the field to score on us. Hopefully, Ike will be a bit more of a challenge for our offense. We need to see better offenses and defenses before the Katy game in two weeks.
 14. WOW! Man, that sounds like one for the record books.
 15. Man, that sounds like a great game!!!! Keep us posted!
 16. WOW! I was hoping for something a little more from Ike! Well, they're next on the chopping block!
