Correct. Because if we go D1, we would likely see Atascocita in the first round, I believe. Not that we couldn't beat them, but they're definitely not a pushover like those Pasadena schools. If we were to beat them, there's still Katy, and NS to have to deal with. Obviously, it would be cool for both Beaumont teams to go D2.

Hey genius, when and where did I say the offense wasnt good? Go back and read my post, Einstein. I gave them props, and even said the offense looked good. Where you're getting your signals crossed is where i said I didnt think he was the best QB on the team. But, as long as we keep getting wins, you can keep trying to make us both look like idiots. I agree. Maybe I need to be clear for the cheap seats, and for the retarded Aggie. I give credit where credit is due. Yes, his game has improved. Yes, he is a different type of QB, but effective, nonetheless. Yes, the results speak for themselves, and were putting points on the board, and wins in the column. Kudos to the coaches for being able to tailor the offense to his strengths, and for being able to give defenses some different looks from what they saw last season. But, I'm standing firm on my opinion that is, he is a senior, but I dont believe he is the best QB on the team. Again, it's nothing personal, but it is my opinion. Dude, it's my opinion, and I'm entitled to it. That being said, the offense scored those points, not one person. Yes, #14 is the starting QB, at present. I'm just curious to see what happens when #11 is the starter. Who BTW, verbally committed to LSU this week.

Well, I still think he runs like he's got cinder blocks attached to his feet. However, he got some good protection on some designed runs. Was it effective? Yes. Do I think he's the best QB on the roster that gives WB the best chance to win? No. That being said, the offense moved well, last night, and we shouldn't have a problem putting points on the board. And should something happen to #14 that kept him out, #11 will be able to step in without missing a beat.

Welp, the offense, and the defense, were much improved from last week. You know I'm hard on my team, especially when they screw up, but I'll be the first to give them props when they do well. The offense was much more balanced, with a good mix of running plays, and passing plays. We could have scored 70 on them if we wanted. Yowman was on target all night, and looked much more relaxed in this game. Kudos to #91 and #15, on the defense, who kept pressure on the SJ quarterback all night. This team is coming together, but if we dont get some help from Deer Park, or Channelview, and we go D1, it really wont matter. Good win for the Bruins. The only speed bump I see us having will be against North Shore. It's going to be a spotlight game, and I hope we fare better than the 55-7 whipping we took from them last year. Aside from that, there isn't a game the rest of the regular season that we shouldn't win. Good win, Bruins. On to Houston Lamar!

I only stayed for the first half, so my opinion may be skewed a little. If someone told me that Yeoman was the best option at QB, I would say there's no way. His passes were way off target, he gives away his passing direction due to him centering on one receiver, instead of making his check downs, and he runs like he's got cinder blocks attached to his feet. Once again, the offense lacked spark with him under center. When Bryce came in for a series, his running ability definitely brings another dynamic that Yeoman doesnt posses, and he marched the offense right down field, and scored. Yes, it was the first game, but there's alot of work that needs to be done if #14 is going to remain the starter. That being said he must have made some improvements in the second half, because Brook poured on the points. However, the defense wasnt on point, because we gave up 35 points to a team that we shut out 55-0, last year. IMO, give the reins to Bryce Anderson, let him grow, as he definitely gives West Brook the best chance to win. Much improvement needs to be made, as Strake Jesuit is going to bring their A game, next week.

What's messed up is, where they're proposing this housing project being built, is a huge flood area. Itll be interesting to see how that is effected.

As a 93 graduate of West Brook, and a current Lumberton resident, if the city grew enough for the Raiders to get to 6A, it wouldn't do anyone in that district any good. Nobody, especially Lumberton, would benefit from playing against 6A competition, especially in the Houston area. Just my .02

The defense has definitely showed up, and made a potitive impact on the results of the game. Yes, they're going to have to show up again, and hit HARD, and force some more turnovers. This is a game that Brook can win, I believe.

So, noone really addressed it, but whats the status of Robert McGrue? He played very limited in the win over Cy Creek. Was he injured, or was it disciplinary, and will he be ready to go, Saturday?
