1. LaPorte is definitely a rushing team with 2495 yards on the ground, and only 785 passing yards. [Hidden Content]
 2. I dont believe that NS is not as good as people thought......I rather believe that West Brook is just better than people thought.

 4. WB can obviously do some things that can upset our old 22-5A district rival. If we continue to improve on offense, and keep feeding #30 Cooper the ball, then I'd say I like our chances against the Deer. If we get past the Deer, then we'd most likely have FB Hightower waiting in the second round. WB by 12.
 5. I'm picking the Jags in this one. Ready to start another deep playoff run again this year!
 6. Congrats on making the playoffs, Pirates. Good luck against the Broncos. Go represent the Golden Triangle!!!
 7. Hightower definitely worries me.....but, gotta get past Deer Park next week. FBHT is beatable, but we'd have to play a perfect game to beat them. Maybe we can catch lightning in a bottle once again if we get the chance to play them. ;)
 8.
Hater?   :'(  That hurts my feelings.  While your at it, you can also call me realistic.  I'm just being honest, keeping things in perspective for you West Brook homers.  I guarantee I have seen much more football than what most of you Brook "dreamers" have seen this year.  I travel a good bit on Friday nights watching whom I want, from Katy to Lufkin.  I know a good team, and a true contender when I see one.  There ain't one of those teams on the westend of Beaumont.  You can take consolation in the fact that you have gotten better every week, and you are better than most people thought you would have been. I'll be the first person to get on here eating crow if somehow you find a way to finally beat a decent ball team.  For your sake, I hope I'm wrong, but I forsee a two game losing streak to close out the season for the cubbies.
open mouth....insert foot! :D
 9. Bring on the Deer Park Deer next weekend! Oh wait a minute....it's opening weekend right now! Cant wait.....lets get it on RIGHT NOW!!!!! Bruins going Deer hunting next week!

 11. Congrats on the win tonight, Titans! BTW, welcome to the post-season! :D

 13. DOWN GOES FRAZIER!!!! Great game by the Bruins and the Mustangs. 21-5A district champs!!!
 14. Headed off to the game!!!!!! Let the tailgating commence! WHOOP WHOOP! ;D
 15.

if WB wins then its WB out-right, if NS wins its co-champs
You would think that head to head would give NS the nod as champs.  But I guess that would have to be spelled out in the district rules.
If NS wins, then we are tied as Co-Champions at 4-1. The only place that makes a difference is in our playoff seeding. If NS wins, then they go as the 1st place representative and WB goes as the 2nd place rep.
 16. Well, there's always Pearland next week! ;)
 17.
i will be flipping the coin again after both WB and Central games. If anyone like i can call with the playoff details once both coaches come to an agreement. i guess i can just post it here from my phone.
;)
 18. westend1, SgtRey, WBg.....you are all wasting your time trying to reason with this fool. He has absolutely no class, and is obviously not married (obviously cant find anyone that can put up with his crap), due to his boastful ability to travel to any game he wants. He cant be respectful in anything he says or does on this board. He is a hater, and nothing you can say is gonna be justified to him. I for one, know that if WB does lose to NS, that most of us will get on here and give KUDOS to NS for being the better team and not make excuses for the result....no matter what it is. We, like most of the other WB posters on here, have a little class, and are not afraid to admit when we're wrong. You should try getting some, Boob. I'd be willing to bet that it will get you a little bit farther in life that being an arrogant jerk on a friendly message board.
 19. We've done well defending against the run for most of the year. I think it's gonna come down to offensive production. IMO, defensively, we can hang with them. Our offense, which has gotten leaps and bounds better in recent weeks, has kinda been our weak spot....hopefully we're peaking at the right time. ;)
 20. For what its worth, the "experts" have once again picked WB to lose by 10 to NS. Although they have been right in their prediction over the last few weeks ( picked WB as a 29 point favorite over Sterling, and we won by 39, picked WB over PAM by 6, and they nailed it 13-7 win), I'm hoping to prove the experts wrong this week. Hoping my Bruins can pull one out in the clutch. [Hidden Content]

Coaching and the fact that Hines sat this one out. PNG is on a roll but bring that arse up to 5A and get that arse smacked around.
thats what happened the last time they were 5A
different times. you two are aware that PNG prolly has more football participation right now than many 5A schools???? I know they have more than PAM so that "5" wouldnt matter as much as you think.  The Indians would have finish no lower than 3rd in the very top heavy 21-5A this year.
No you don't we have two jv teams two 9th grade teams and could have sophomore team if needed. We got caught looking two games ahead. I won't lie I was looking ahead myself forgetting that we still had to play the games. so i know the kids were that's the only explanation. And i think that five means more than you think. It means you have more quality coming off the bench. And you probably would have finshed in 21-5a
GOAT, if Im wrong Im wrong but PNG has over 200 kids involved in the football program right now. Theres enough kids on the sidelines every Friday night to field second JV team. (BTW the current JV team is undefeated so theres still talent playing on Junior Varsity) and the current varsity has ZERO players going both ways. Ill stick with my opinion that PNG would easily finish no lower than 3rd in 21-5A this year.
That's the magic word.
The "magic" word that makes these forums what they are. I love a good friendly discussion, so who in 21-5A do you think beats PNG this year? Surely not Channelview or either of the Baytown schools??
West Brook and North SHore!
 23.
Since I figured that North Shore will handle West Brook with ease, I thought that North Shore would be district champs with a head-to-head win and identical records.   It really don't matter though, if West Brook goes D1 they would be the 2nd seed playing a good team in the first round.   District champions sounds good, losing in the first round don't.  Thats what is probably going to happen, unless Brook sneaks into the D2 bracket. Thanks for the math lesson though, coach.
WB is going Div 1.....Sterling is the second largest school, and WB is the third largest. Since Sterling will not be making the postseason, then WB moves up to D!. We will not go D2. Subsequently, if by chance we get past the first round, there's not much competition that would prevent us from winning another game of two to the third round or so.
 24.
PAM screwed West Brook out of a district tri-chamion.  North Shore will now win it outright now. I think it will be a much better game than last year, and North Shore will win by 2 td's.  It will be low scoring like the PAM game, and West Brook will get good prep time for the playoffs against a good defense.
OK, let me explain this for those of you not strong in the math department. West Brook currently is in the district lead with a 4-0 record. NS is in second with a 3-1 record. If WB wins, then they win it outright and would finish 5-0. IF NS wins, then both WB and NS would finish tied with 4-1 records, thus sharing the district title as Co-Champions. I'm guessing that WB and NS will share the district title. This only affects the playoff seeding. Because WB and NS are both going D1, the winner of this game will be the first place rep from 21-5A, and the loser of this game will be the second place rep...even though they are Co-District-Champions. NS cannot win the district title outright. Does that make sense?
