Yea, just a joke. But FSU scored 23 runs on A&M pitching the day before. If Chidress had pulled Wacha and the Noles bats exploded on the Ags bullpen( and they are very capable of doing that) everyone would be calling for Childress' job today!! :)

Maybe we can get you guys Childress and Augies cell phone numbers, I am sure they would love to have ya'lls imput on pitching changes during the World Series! ;D ;)

Wacha needed another days rest. Will be ready to go tomorrow, on full rest.

With Stilson out it looks like A&M will save #2 pitcher Wacha for a possible 3rd game and go with less experienced guys in game 2.

A super regional win and two National Championships ( Mens and Womens Track and Field) not a bad day for the Ags!! :D

Texas and A&M really struggle at the plate and scoring runs at times, that can really cost you in a short series.

Surely the Brenham community will let the kids celebrate the fact they made it to the state tourney!  :o I would hate to think that these kids would be led to think they are either state champions or they failed! They worked hard and had a great season. The goal is always to be State Champions and I know they are disappointed but they should be proud and celebrated for what they accomplished!!

I would love to see Dallas Baptist go to the WS. A&M and UT better hit the ball better than they did this weekend. A&M hit it well against the weaker teams but not against Arizona. UT didn't tear it up at the plate against a pretty weak regional. UTs pitching can carry the Horns, but with Stilson out A&M has to score some runs.

How about A&M not getting a national seed and the reason given is because of the John Stilson injury. If the committee didn't think A&M was  a top 8 seed just have the guts to say so, but if they really lost a national seed because of an injury,well that is just wrong. You don't punish the team for someone getting injured!!

No big deal baddog. Everyone has their own opinion and neither one is wrong. Both views have merit to them.

All the games count. I don't put a lot of stock in the tourney either, but you have to take care of business in all the conference games. Things come into play like only playing one series against each other and one team getting all the games or 2 out of three games at home or just having a bad series. Conference play causes a team to have to win over the long haul and every game counts. The Horns and Ags finish tied, the Horns won the series 2-1, and had a chance to sweep and win conference with a win on the last day at home and didn't get it done. And the Ags could have done the same with a win at Olsen on Fri. of the last series. I don''t see how you can make the rest of the conference games not count. Both teams lost the same amount of games over the course of the conference season. We are looking for a conference champion. If we went by who won between UT and A&M on one weekend, that is not proving anything more than the conference tourney, this past weekend where A&M got hot and won it and UT lost 2 of 3 to unranked teams.

Missouri 2 Texas 1. Missouri and A&M for the title tomorrow.

I don't no if Ross will pitch again this season or not. But I believe he is out as well.

Aggies 9-Kansas State 8. A&M to the championship game. Down 8-4 in the bottom of the 8th, A&M tied the game with 4 in the 8th, and won it in the bottom of the 11th with a bases loaded no outs single. With Stilson out for the year and not able to pitch at all in the tourney, A&M will be way down into the pitching depth chart tomorrow.

Stilson had a MRI in OKC at the Big 12 tourney and it revealed a torn labrum. Stilson was expected to be a first round pick.
