I do agree winning cures all ,and expectations in the basketball program should be higher because although coach Green is an excellent coach, he is also inherenting two programs that are use to either winning district or placing 2nd to 3rd at worst and advancing in playoffs. In regards to the football program ,neither team was world beaters in my view point, although Central programs were slightly better. But I do know, we have to get past the Central vs.Ozen mentality and let the coaches try and establish their programs ,because on the outside looking in I can't tell who went to Central and who went to Ozen . It is now United regardless to weather we like it or not..

I really don't believe any favoritism will be going on, may the best man win the job. Besides that coach Taylor was at both schools so he is familiar with both schools talent . With that being said, he is in a tough position don't matter who he plays some body parent will not be happy.

I don't doubt Memorial will be the team to beat for district title ,wasn't at the game between Central and Ozen, but, based on the score it appears Central and Ozen both, will give them a good test.

Appears it was a good game to watch, sounds like they are evenly matched .Coaching adjustments will dictate the winner in district.

I support Ozen and was at the game last night although,I don't have no one out there. Can't explain why others don't attend other than lack of support and interest based on wins and losses. I do know,unless changes occur with coaching philosophy and or positive motivation, attendance won't change.

Ozen didn't choose, a certain coach chose for them whom is no longer there ,most coaches were in favor of going were ever the numbers took them. I am not as affiliated with the school as normal but I will go out on a limb and say Ozen will be more competitive this year than most expect.
