foh.. the ONLY team ya'll beat with a winning record was silsbee.. and they were one over .500... WITH THE BEST TEAM YA'LL HAVE EVER HAD. if this was last years team i'd give it to ya'll but ya'll lost 90% of your offense and witwer was a monster on defense as well.. so just be realistic.. ya'll will be right back down to mediocrity with everyone else in the district.. lets check your stats against teams with winning records.. kingwood park.. L 52-15 navasota 43-26.. face it ya'll SUCK THIS YEAR! lol now that's some reality for ya

lets not lie now..
Nope I'm not I have already posted who will carry the load, that's right I forgot yall Liberty folk don't know how to read. I was just showing how bad your supposedly great wr and QB really where.
so terrible the site you can't stay off of named him sophomore of the year... yep compare him to your leading receiver.. ok thought so.
-
nice that your so hype over a guy who has 1 career touchdown and whom you've never seen play. says a lot about to state of huffman football this season. and liberty might not have got 49 points better, but i think ya'll have definitely got 49 points worse. even if ya'll got peyton manning who the hell is gonna catch the ball? your leading returning receiver caught 12 passes for 138 and 1 td.. that just screams state championship!!! good luck winning 5 games
-
it was a question.. stop crying falcon. seems like someones feelin a lil guilty.. read the thread.. ya'll have thrown him out there already. sad
-
just pray ya'll win 5 games this year

A we can't do anything if the qb can't get him the ball. I guess you're calling the setx staff wrong by saying Jones is "average" smh.. haters. 3. You really just mentioned a passing camp? Sad. So a camp is a better gauge of talent than 7 on 7? They need to hire decent teachers in Huffman obviously. 4. Someone to john McCain (age reference) HD hasn't been worth ish in 70-80 years. Get a hobby. 5. If u Huffman fans wanna mention old history lets mention entire history, liberty > huffman. 6. If HD kids could start for liberty they'd move. 7. Still waiting to hear concrete evidence of y a team that lost everyone won't fall off. The name on the Jersey doesn't win games. 3weeks til the proof comes out. 8. Setx sophomore oy plus 15 lbs. Plus .2 seconds off 40 = beast. 2 Cleveland move-ins 1 Dayton. 6'4 basketball star back from injury at we as well.. yeah they'll suck..
You want concrete proof of why a team won't fall off? There is no such thing, all of this is just speculation lol. No one has concrete proof till the season starts. Now if you want my reasons why idt there will be much change in district go read some of the other threads where I have already posted them. Here is my favorite one tho in three games vs teams with winning records Jones had a total of 59 yards (rushing and receiving) fitz threw for 177 yards and neither of them scored a touchdown. In fact you don't have anyone on your team that's has scored a touchdown vs a team with a winning record. That is pretty sad. BTW no I don't judge someone's talent based off a passing camp that was the only thing I heard about him, But here are some stats. In the only game where Preston Towley was the undoubted starting QB he threw for 199 yards and 1 td. That game was in the playoffs vs a PNG team that went three rounds deep. He has more yards and tds in one game than fits has in 3 vs playoff teams.
that's the his stats for the whole season basically lets not bs.. nice try tho. a wr can put up numbers if the qb doesn't get him the ball... wut part don't you get? last year fitz struggled.. he's improved greatly. as for jones being "average" i didn't know they gave sophomore of the year to average players.. like u said its just speculation and un-educated guesses on your behalf. you went from larsen and gray to hoping a qb that didn't even see playing time will save ya'll. you're making it too easy.

huffman lost everybody.. so i'm not understanding why ya'll are saying they'll be so good ??? so deberry and all them are that easily replaceable right? yeah, make up your mind. ya'll have no receivers, no o-line, and no qb.. unless that "transfer" that obviously couldn't get on the field on a average bh team can save ya'll. why don't ya'll go ahead and move up to 4a.. ya'll do have the numbers.. since ya'll are so great? foh.. do you even know who your starters will be? bunch of inexperienced players who haven't proved anything! lets not compare last year and who did what.. lets compare the talent and experience on both teams.. WHO DO YA'LL HAVE... ya'll will learn bout arguing wit huffman kids.. you can't win unless you consider them champs.. lets see what the "experts" at chron.com have to say.. High school football tour: 3A schools Key issues 1. Can a Houston-area 3A team win a state championship? Winning a state title is never easy, but answering this question is — definitely, yes. Coldspring went to the Division II final last year and returns a 2,000-yard rusher in Sherman Gilbert, who wasn’t even considered the team’s best back going into last season, and plenty of talent on defense. Then there’s Columbia, which made the Division I state semis, returns most of its defense and has the shortest road to a title tilt. 2. Will Huffman Hargrave keep scoring? The Falcons had one of the most prolific passing offenses in 3A last season, with the graduated Cole DeBerry finishing with 3,460 yards and 37 touchdowns. But considering DeBerry isn’t even one of the six Falcons who signed to play football in college, the team lost a ton of talent, so it’s unlikely they keep up last year’s pace. But if Barbers Hill transfer Preston Townley settles in at QB, they’ll still be pretty good. Top five teams 1. Coldspring 2. Sealy 3. Columbia 4. Columbus 5. Liberty Players to watch RB Sherman Gilbert, senior, Coldspring The speedy back produced nearly 2,400 total yards with 28 TDs while sharing time in the backfield last season. QB Daniel Fitzwater, junior, Liberty The 6-5 signal-caller threw for 1,761 yards and 15 TDs as a sophomore last year. OT Blake Herman, senior, Needville The towering 6-8 tackle will be suiting up for the Houston Cougars next season. DE Bradley Swanks, senior, Columbia Swanks, who placed in the shot put at state, is big, athletic and determined to dominate this season. LB/RB Kyle Appelt, senior, Columbus A prolific tackler on defense last year, Appelt should be just as prolific a runner this season. Read more: [Hidden Content] eat ya heart out.. outside of ur (4a) town nobody (with common sense) believes ya'll will be the same huffman from last year and nobody believes ya'll are better than liberty.. move on
Tell me how what happened 15 or 20 years ago has any effect on this season? You can't right off recent history it shows were your program is heading. Oregon is better to usc right now played in a nc and 2 straight pac 10 titles and everything usc got was taken away cause they cheated. Aggies had a better season last year, but ut played in the nc the year before that not really any relevance here. You just don't wanna look at facts you are in denial. Liberty has been pathetic recently that is a fact. I guess you didn't know the answer to my question of the last time Liberty won a playoff game. It must of been a really long time ago, but hey just hop on that time machine relive your history, because your present ain't much to look at. Think about it this way Michigan has a great history but right now they are garbage, same with notre dame, army, and navy. Your overall history just shows where you have been not where you are going. I doubt you are really done you have said it before lol. If you don't wanna talk why are you here? isn't this a forum to discuss opinions? Does what I say make you that mad? Lol BTW I think I called it about you coming back with something about liberty's ancient history. Lol
actually i could tell you exactly when.. i was there. i played, but when i mentioned my playin days earlier in the thread (we NEVER lost to huffman) no one wanted to hear it so i left it alone simple enough. anyways.. no argument here buddy. everything you say is right. congrats on the state title ya'll are gonna win this year!! GO FALCONS!!!
So basically what your saying is only skill positions matter? Wow Gilbert won't have anywhere to run with out a line. The only reason coldsprings was able to go on thier run last year is, because they had a very experienced oline lead by u of h comitt Matt Wilson. BTW Huffman has 2 retuning klayton larsen and darrian grey coldspring has Alfred Scott and Gilbert and maybe a wr p.s. I still belive coldspring is the favorite just trying to show you how many starters you have coming back isn't the only thing that matters.
now you're making more sense.. however didn't ya'll lose you're line as well for the most part? so where will grey and larsen run? CS is clearly the favorite.. i've said that all along. its just my opinion that liberty will be 2nd.. why argue with my opinon.. and why does this continue.. how bout we all move on... smh. last point.. ya'll have no skill position players (basically) and no o-line.. but ya'll are so far ahead of everyone else because??? and when i named jones and fitz you said all we had was two players but yet that's the EXACT SAME AMOUNT YOU JUST NAMED!!! you see where i'm going with this??
Your missing the point yes Huffman lost just as much as coldspring, but why in your mind is coldspring the favorite and Huffman rebuilding. You have said your main reason for your opinion of liberty is thier retuning starters. Yet the number of retuning starters dosent mean crap by itself it is just part of the story. Liberty lost to teams with a winning record by an average of 42 points and the teams they managed to beat were a combined 9 and 41. So your telling that all these starters are going to be 42 points better this year? I would agree with you if liberty was in anywhere close, but they weren't they got slaughtered. If a crappy team ( dodiej already admitted liberty was a bad team last year) returns all thier players it will still be a crappy team. Since you think starters mean so much explain to me why teams like Katy, North Shore, LT, and SLC are top ranked teams every year regardless of how many starters they have back. Or how tarkington hasnet made the playoffs since 1960 yet Im sure atleast one of the years since then they probably had like 20 starters back and it didn't make any difference they still sucked. If you don't think Huffman has a superior program compared to liberty now you are in denial. It dosent matter who beat who liberty could've beaten Huffman every year. Teams are judged by if they make the playoffs or not. Huffman may have lost to liberty, but they have been making the playoffs liberty has not. Liberty had its first wining season since 05 last year and they went 6-5 and all thier wins came aginst crappy teams. Dosent that sound like two programs heading in opposite directions to you?
huffman should not be mentioned in the same breath as katy or any of those others schools. up until recent times ya'll weren't even relevant in football.. ya'll are tarkington with a few good seasons.. 4a numbers playing in 3a and ya'll still aren't getting anywhere. just wait til re-class... better hope ya'll win 3 games! haha
