True. BISD’s ECHS does not count toward the HS numbers. And also, another nugget of info. Within last year, Earhart has finally implemented a high school program now. They’ve built a new building and have 10th graders there and are growing it as we speak.

I disagree. The stadium has been in existence for exactly 15 years. I remember when the Beaumont schools were still strong in football, there were lots of fans there. I think this is due to Beaumont football being somewhat down.

In actually not shocked by the numbers turned in, since I’m privy to the proportional increase of Beaumont charter schools like Bob Hope, Evolution, Earhart, ect.

I’ve seen both teams and usually, WB would plow through this team. But based on rumors this week about a significant injury, BH will win this one.

That’s because I haven’t figured out this team and their thought process, and we’re 9 games in. I’m confused n personal decisions, coaching decisions, ect. We have plays that we run and get 15 yards and never go back to them again. We have arguably the best WR in the district yet there’s games that we only target him literally 2 or 3 times a game. We have a player in the secondary that literally have getting burned for Multiple TD’s a game since last year and into this year but he continues to start. We have another kid that had a game where he was literally responsible for 7 turnovers in a game but he continues to start. We have another kid that got hurt a few games ago. We replace him with a 1st year varsity player. That kid had a whale of a game in a huge district win. What do we do the next game? We bench him and bring that original player back in. We also average like 2 delay of game penalties a game. Everything that I’m mentioning happens every game. It’s redundant . Where most teams get better, our team just remains onnthe same level every week, even after the bye. With that being said, I think we’re better than Sterling, however, based on the history of this years team, we’ll make this must win game harder than it needs to be. 21-13 BU

This is a crazy question. But it depends on who you ask. The casual Beaumont person that you’ll find in barber shops, restaurants, ect, absolutely. Fans and people actively involved with the boosters and stuff…. Absolutely. The students at the respective schools? Yes. Administration is another story. Both at the school level and the district level. School level, with the growing problem of low test scores. The schools are having to place the big sport like football on the back burner and focus on academics. This means low quality football coaches, due to inadequate salaries and resources. And that’s just the school level admin. The district level admin seem to ONLY be focused on basketball. Football takes a back seat. You can clearly see this when one of those coaching jobs come open. Seems to be quality hires every time. Just one guy’s thoughts on it.

Memorial will never trail and it’ll be on cruise control in the second half. This team won’t be challenged until the second round. Key word challenged, not beaten…
