  1. IMO, The Trinity River separates it from the Greater Houston area out to the West. Up north, everything north of Jasper and Newton county is not southeast texas. Should be considered as East Texas. Of course, The Sabine river separates it on the eastern side. I think you can go ahead and throw the Bolivar Peninsula in as part of SETX also.
  2. Didn't you say BH was part of Southeast Texas? I think that is Chambers county, which you didn't list above.
  3. Maaan, 82. We get no respect being way at the bottom like that! lol. Just remember this post after week 1. ;D
  4. The Golden Triangle is an area of extreme Southeast Texas near the Louisiana border. The "triangle" is formed by Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange, which are the largest cities in the area. The "golden" refers to the wealth that came from the Spindletop oil strike near Beaumont in 1901. In an attempt to distance the area from the petrochemical industry, some area interests attempted to rename the Golden Triangle the "Triplex." This name change did not catch on, and area residents still refer to it as the Golden Triangle. Some residents of the Golden Triangle do not refer to the Greater Houston area as being part of Southeast Texas and place the western boundary of the region roughly at the Trinity River. The area holds the annual South Texas State Fair in Beaumont. If I'm not mistaken, Dayton and BH is on the Western side of the Trinity. It's good to see that I'm not the only one that may have been baffled by this.
  5. You're right. I did forget about Newton. What you really consider Dayton a part of SETX? I would consider them part of the houston area, just like BH. I would put Newton between WO-S and Jasper. I would leave Memorial.
  6. 1. WB 2. WO-S 3. Jasper 4. Kirbyville 5. Nederland 6. Central 7. PN-G 8. Kelly 9. Ozen 10. Memorial This one is hard because I threw all of the classifications in there.
  7. KG missed those two free throws late in the 4th. Also, Rondo messed it up with that silly foul on Fisher that gave the Lakers momentum and by the silly turnover when he didn't have anywhere to go and passed it to Radmonovic.
  8. Wish my Jags was in the old 22-5a back in the mid 1900's. That district had Both the Baytown school, North Shore, and Deer Park in it.
  9. Real football is played on grass, IMO. The Rez will be setting new trends in this area though.
  10. This is a great article! Didn't know Mr. Saveat puts all those long hours in the job like that. Also glad they are still working on that location for the new stadium.
  11. Boston will be fine. They just better close the Lakers out Tuesday. Doc do not want a Game 7 with the Lakers.
  12. lol...this my comercial. 'I see that fire in your eye! Shhhhhhhh. I keep spraying, but I just can't seem to put it out!' Dude stupid!
  13. Rondo started messing up with the three point play on fisher then the ill-advised pass stolen by Radmonovic.
  14. Happy Fathers day, men. Don't eat too much!
  15. Hey, that kid looks good. It appears that the competition just wasn't good. Those defenses looked horrible! We will see how he does on the Varsity level.
  16. Just saw the highlights, man. All I have to say is 'BEAST'.
  17. What in the h3ll is HORSEPUCKY My original word would have gotten sensored.
